If you are planning on being in DC for the weekend and want to attend this event I would strongly suggest getting to The Kennedy Center very early. There is no free parking around the Kennedy Center, and it isn't really an easy place to walk to because of it's location near the river. You can take a bus or plan on walking a distance for free parking. The Parking at The Kennedy Center is hourly and somewhat limited. Also, if you are looking for hotel space, you may want to go into Northern Virginia or Southern Maryland as most of DC is now sold out. Hotel Space in places like Manassas, Virginia will be less expensive and if you have a car, it won't be too bad to get into the district from there, just prepare for heavy traffic. You can also take in a little history, a civil war battlefield, Bull Run, is located there.

What would you consider early in the morning?
Are we talking 2am, 5am?.....hmmmm-
I'm new to your site, so I don't know;
will you be attending the Glenn Beck 8-28 event?
Um, I would say get there no later than 6 am.
I will be attending the restore honor rally, but will not be going to this event. I am actually going to the Ronald Reagan dinner. that is if I am feeling better as I have the flu right now. High fever, chills and body aches, oh my!!
Sorry it took so long for me to answer you!!
