"You're free to open whatever you like. If you won't consider the sensibilities of Muslims, you're not going to build dialog."Builders of the Cordoba House Mosque to Greg Gutfeld regarding him opening a gay bar across the street from the Ground Zero Mosque.
I have been supportive of the mosque's constitutional right to build the mosque, but this where the Iman is losing his argument. The Iman has the law on his side, not just with constitutional rights of worship, but also with the property rights issues that conservatives hold dear. The problem is that they don't see that with this statement he is saying that only we have to consider "sensibilities".
While I am totally against the state of New York offering up property to build the mosque in a different location, how they answer that offer will say a great deal. If he is truly worried about sensibilities, the Iman would take up the offer of the Gov. Patterson and move the location.

That quote is classic! He talks about the sensibilities of muslims, but doesn't care a whit about the sensibilities of New Yorkers or Americans. What a bad guy!

Isn't it a typical liberal response? I am not saying that Iman is liberal, because I don't know, but it is a typical response you hear from liberals.
Sadly, this statement is getting almost no media attention. This should be a banner headline!!
