Ethical Alarm Bells? Congresswoman Johnson Had None When Family Received Scholarship Money UPDATES

Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson is trying to tell people that she didn't think anything was wrong with family members of her and her staff getting scholarships from the CBC.  Really?  Has this woman ever read the rules of pretty much any give away?  They always disallow staff and their families for just this reason.  The people who received this money may very well been deserving, but it gives the impression of special treatment.

UPDATES -

Anderson Cooper isn't even buying her story.  The reality is if you are not intelligent enough to realize that your grandchildren should not be getting this money than you are not intelligent enough to serve in congress.

Everybody needs oversight. Sadly.

This is downright thievery and she should be thrown out of Congress ASAP. What about the people reallly deserving of this money that never got it. Apparently if you believe her all her family are cheats and liars since they lied on the applications. We need ethical, honest, smart people in Congress - ones who can READ!

She should serve the remainder of her term of office in a federal correctional facility as a message to other legislators.
