Lisa Murkowski is the poster woman of everything that is wrong with Washington. Politicians who believe that they are somehow entitled to their position of power. When this position is taken away they lash out like bratty children.
Murkowski knows that she has no chance of winning her seat back as a write in candidate. That has not happened in more than 5 decades. The last time it was done it was the mid fifties by Strom Thurmond. I don't think that it is a stretch to say the reasons he won that election at that time had to do with racism and Thurmond's former approval of segregation.
What Murkowski is really doing is trying to keep Joe Miller from winning the seat. Since she has to take her toys and go home, she would rather destroy the playground than gracefully walk off.
Her reaction is the reason that the tea party has not only formed, but has continue to grow. We are sick to death of politicians that show no grace and have no loyalty to the people who are employing her. Yes, losing by two thousand votes must be difficult, but it is not the end of the world. Grow up and get over it.
The republican party would do itself a great favor by shunning this woman for the next few months. They need to show the people of not just Alaska, but the entire country that they are listening to the wishes of the voters. It would be a refreshing change of pace.

I suspect that the people chose well by repudiating her.
She's a classless act, a RINO and an embarrassment to Alaska.
She needs to put on her big girl panties and get a job.
I don't think her daddy ever gave her big girl panties. He was too busy showing her how she was entitled.
