3% of Massachusetts residents are still without coverage. It was 6% to start with
$47M - the amount that Romney care is over budget for 2010
$900M - the amount that Romneycare is estimated to cost in 2011
27% - The amount over the national average that Massachusetts pays for healthcare services.
Capitation - A system that would pay doctors a set fee for each patient, once that money runs out, the doctor will no longer be paid for services. The Governor is considering this option to lower costs. What are the chances you will get another appointment after your money runs out?
#1 - Where Massuchusetts falls the for the highest insurance premiums in the country.
