If you live long enough anything can happen. Bill Maher made a point that you almost never hear anyone on left make.
Much of which is going in on Gaza they are responsible for. They live in difficult cirmcumstances, the city is the most densely populated in the world. They unemployment rate is 40%, the majority of the citizens live below the poverty line. But, if they stop bombing the Israeli people Israel will leave them alone. Just ask the Egyptians and the Jordanians; they stopped the aggression and they have not had problems since. This shows that Israel is interested in peace. Gaza should try it sometime, it just might work.

Normally when I see Mahrs name anywhere I avoid it like the plague. However, I agree with him here and your points as well.
