The Obamas attended their second theatrical event this week. This one happened to fall on the anniversary of D-Day.
D-Day was a major accomplishment of the United States of America. Obama would not be president today had this gone in the other direction. Thousands upon thousands died on this day to ensure the continued freedom of not just our country but of Europe as well. A few words before you played dress up and went to the theatre wouldn't have killed you Mr. President. You live across the street from the WWII memorial.
Since I ran into you when I went to the Cherry Blossom festival taking your daughters out for the festivities, you could have taken a minute or two to say a word of thanks.
Image does matter.

Hey, nice Amazon widget. I like to see what my friends have read/are reading. It is a little peek into their world. And a nice way to pass on some good material.
The Obamas have brought the pResidency to a new low. Sad but not unexpected.
President Obama has passed 50% of the D-Day anniversaries during his administration in Normandy, participating in observances. W's participation during his eight years in office was 12.5%

I wasn't expecting him to go to France, just an acknowledgement.
All president's have given acknowledgment on the 5 year anniversaries, and dealt with other duties otherwise.... and this president has a lot of fixin' up to do -- 8 years worth, to be exact!
Yes, of course, it is Bush's fault. How typical.
