Newt "..Lifetime record of being a consistent conservative"
Well, except for his infomercial with Nanny Pelosi on global warming. Although, he has since admitted it was a mistake.

I Knew There Was a Reason I like Ann Coulter
This of course is causing many calls of "Diva", "Establishment", and "Elitist".
There are people out there who like Sarah Palin, who believe in what she is saying, who thinks that she is good at getting a crowd going, and has a canny ability to raise money, but don't feel that she should run for president. That in and of itself does not make you a bad person, a bad conservative, or any other thing that you will be called by the Palinista's. It just means that you are expressing your opinion. Something that as an American you are allowed to express. At least the last time I checked.
Some of Palin's "fans" are rabid fanatics. They search every website for one little bad word about the Governor and all of sudden you end up with comment after comment questioning your sanity. People will defriend you on Facebook if you dare say one word against Palin. How exactly is that different from what happened with Obama a few years ago? It is the same blind loyalty. Sarah Palin is not perfect, she makes mistakes, just like every other human being. She has no magic wand to cure all the ills. It scared me when this was the belief for Obama and it scares me now. It isn't healthy for our type of government.
I agree with Ann, it isn't whether Sarah Palin is all those things that the left accused her of, it is about whether the squishy middle who decide national elections believe it. It has been three years and there are still people who think Tina Fey's comments were actually made by Sarah Palin. If she hasn't been able to dismiss these misconceptions by now, I don't hold the belief that she can. It also isn't a question of fairness. Life isn't fair. The left set out to destroy her to the squishy middle and I think they did a bang up job of it. These people are not going to watch the documentary about her, they have already made up their minds. I live in a left leaning area of the country, they don't care what her record is. They don't like her. They won't vote her. Yeah, they will vote for Obama over her. Her true record has no meaning to them. Her not making a decision about running I think has hurt her, not helped her. It just allows this type of talk to continue.
There is nothing in this interview that should warrant Coulter and Graham being called the names that they are being called. They spoke their minds in an analytical fashion. That is what they are paid to do.
I am with Ann, it is time to "fish or cut bait" Governor. The game is becoming tiresome. Make your decision known. We can then start the process of widdling down to the candidate that is the most likely to beat Obama. After all that is the goal, isn't it?

Ed Schultz Suspended for Calling Laura Ingraham a Slut
“Remarks of this nature are unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” MSNBC said in a statement. In the most surprising turn of events this statement came from The Women's Media Center:
MSNBC said Schultz will address the remarks on his show Wednesday night, and begin his leave immediately afterward. He will return on June 6th.
“MSNBC management met with Ed Schultz this afternoon and accepted his offer to take one week of unpaid leave for the remarks he made yesterday on his radio program,” MSNBC said.
“While conservative bloggers and watchdog organizations are highlighting Schultz’s remark, the Women’s Media Center also calls on MSNBC to suspend Schultz for his comments, since they not only attack Ingraham, but all women, Ms. Ingraham is no friend to the Women’s Media Center, but a sexist and misogynist attack based on her gender and not her political views or comments is harmful to women in media, politics, and beyond.”
Can't we just all get along? Ed Schultz is an embarassment to his profession.
Ingraham not one to shy away said:
“Re. the crude comments made about me by Ed Schultz on his radio program: First, I was surprised to learn that Ed Schultz actually hosted a radio show. Is it only available online?”
“Second, I have to get back to recording the audio edition of my new book “Of Thee I Zing.” Now I’m tempted to insert one additional zing—about men who preach civility but practice misogyny.”
You should go read the comments under this story at Politico, you will get a good laugh.

The Patriotic Progressive Left
Laura Ingraham interviews one of the "Patriotic Millionaires for Fiscal Responsibility". They are affiliated with Wealth for the Common Good and The Agenda Project. The founder of which has ties to George Soros. Shocker that you can take five minutes and find Soros' dirty little fingerprints.
What I really enjoyed about this video is that the millionaire who is complaining about his lower taxes even says he would write a bigger check if he knew that the money wouldn't be wasted. Does he think that the money won't be wasted if the tax rate is higher? That is the problem. I would venture to say that many people across this country would be willing to pay additional taxes if it actually went down to pay the debt. I would do it, to me it would be my contribution to the prosperity for the next generation of Americans. The reason that I fight paying higher taxes is the fact that they waste the money.
Really? The guy in the video even said himself that they waste the money.
They also leave these two little facts - There is a website that will allow you to give money to the treasury, and none of these people are being stopped from filling out a 1040EZ and paying 35% on the full amount of income without any additiional write offs.
I, for one, am sick to death of being told that I have to give up more of my money to be considered patriotic. I feel that asking the government to be more responsible with the money that is collected from hard working Americans is the most patriotic thing I can do.

Letting tax cuts for the top 2% expire as scheduled would pay down the debt by $700 billion over the next 10 years
Really? The guy in the video even said himself that they waste the money.
During the Great Depression, millionaires had a top marginal tax rate of 68%What they didn't put with their nifty little stats is the fact that when the tax rates were this high, that the rich found ways of hiding major portions of their income so they paid even less taxes than what they would pay with the lower rates.
In 1963, millionaires had a top marginal tax rate of 91%
In 1976, millionaires had a top marginal tax rate of 70%

Ingraham V. Planned Parenthood
As usual she never answered the question. She also said that Planned Parenthood has a zero tolerance policy. The woman that was fired was able to answer the questions without thinking about them at all. If she was able to answer those questions very easily, it would not be a stretch to think she has answered them before. She then goes to the same old left meme on abortion. What about the rape victims? Please that is less than 3% of all abortions. My other question for her would be now that we passed Obamacare what excuse are going to use now? People won't be without insurance anymore right?
I know for a FACT that Planned Parenthood raises millions of dollars per month. They do not our tax payer dollars. How stupid do they think that we are? They have only one budget, to say that my money is not funding abortion is an outright lie.

Ingraham's "View" of Whoopi and Joy
I used to enjoy watching The View. Those days are long since gone. Now, even though I don't agree with Whoopi on anything politically, for the most part I think that she makes arguments that contain intelligent thought most of the time. The "not rape, rape" comment on Polanski being a vivid exception. The comment she made today about Timothy McVeigh being a Christian another. I, for the life me, can't figure the connection. McVeigh didn't do the bombing because of Christ. McVeigh didn't yell God is Great while killing people, terrorists do. I am sick to death of hearing progressive liberals bringing him up. There is no connection between the two. McVeigh was an crazy anti-government man, who happened to be brought up as a Christian. On 9/11, 3,000 innocent people were murdered in the name of Islam. These two things are not even remotely related. Also, the liberal left such as Behar have no problem bashing Christians. But, heaven forbid, someone make a factual statement that Muslims attacked us on 9/11 and her nose gets all out of joint and they made complete fools out of themselves. Crazy Liberal Logic.
