Quote of the Day - Ed Schultz Edition
All you right wingers...a little nervous aren't you boys !...what did you do with 27 million and your boy can't close..Ed Schultz on Twitter about 20 minutes before the race was called for Scott Walker. He really did look like he wanted to cry when he had to announce the Scott Walker was the first Governor in history to survive a recall vote.
He won by a larger margin then his original election. His policies are starting to work. The state is improving. The unemployment is down, the property taxes were not raised for the first time in a decade, and the budget is getting under control.
I am reminded of this troll guy I kept seeing over and over at CPAC. He said he was from Wisconsin. Who knows if that is the truth, but all he did all weekend was sit outside, smoke, and engage conservatives in conversation in order to insult them. He told me then there would be no way Walker would survive.

Ed Schultz Suspended for Calling Laura Ingraham a Slut
“Remarks of this nature are unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” MSNBC said in a statement. In the most surprising turn of events this statement came from The Women's Media Center:
MSNBC said Schultz will address the remarks on his show Wednesday night, and begin his leave immediately afterward. He will return on June 6th.
“MSNBC management met with Ed Schultz this afternoon and accepted his offer to take one week of unpaid leave for the remarks he made yesterday on his radio program,” MSNBC said.
“While conservative bloggers and watchdog organizations are highlighting Schultz’s remark, the Women’s Media Center also calls on MSNBC to suspend Schultz for his comments, since they not only attack Ingraham, but all women, Ms. Ingraham is no friend to the Women’s Media Center, but a sexist and misogynist attack based on her gender and not her political views or comments is harmful to women in media, politics, and beyond.”
Can't we just all get along? Ed Schultz is an embarassment to his profession.
Ingraham not one to shy away said:
“Re. the crude comments made about me by Ed Schultz on his radio program: First, I was surprised to learn that Ed Schultz actually hosted a radio show. Is it only available online?”
“Second, I have to get back to recording the audio edition of my new book “Of Thee I Zing.” Now I’m tempted to insert one additional zing—about men who preach civility but practice misogyny.”
You should go read the comments under this story at Politico, you will get a good laugh.

Ed Schultz's Delusion
Beck Rally
One Nation Rally
Now, I left the "One Nation" Rally about a half hour or so before it ended, mainly because I bored and there wasn't anyone else around. I honestly think that 175,000 is probably an accurate number, the problem is that many of the people that came to town, used it as a sightseeing tour. They went to the rally briefly, but then they went around to the museums and other sights. People were not really all that interested in what the speakers had to say. Not that I blame them, I wasn't either.
