between the marginal and top rates, aren't federal income tax rates lower than at any time since around the 1930s or so?
When you have people paying more than 60% of taxes when you include state and property taxes they are not. Deny that all you want, but there are plenty of people in this country who are paying more than half of their income to taxes. The taxes are only going to get worse once all these new medicaid taxes from the states kick in.
They also have no idea on the proper ways to spend it. I am sorry, but yeah I am angry that my tax dollars paid for sculptures and turtle road crossings with my stimulus money. We are broke, we don't need to paying for that right now.
