All In for Liberty - Michele Bachman at DC Tax Day Tea Party Updated Videos

One of the nice things of having a tea party down the street from the Capitol building was that we were able to see some good conservative speakers tonight.  Steve King, Jim DeMint, Marsha Blackburn, and Michele Bachman all came and spoke at the evening tea party.

I really spent most of the evening paying attention to the speakers, so I didn't take any pics of the speakers.  Michele Bachman told us she is all in for liberty.  Andrew Breitbart gave a great speech, and didn't miss any words whatsoever.  I certainly hope that no TV station was playing it live, as they will be fined by the FCC.

We had some Coffee Party people join us.  One was carrying a sign that said
I'm Ignorant
I thought it was my duty to go up and tell him that he was right.  We also had the "you are racists" crowd.  We also had the young kids going throughout the audience with their Che shirts on. This girl was very young, I just want to go up and shake them.  Do they read?  He is very upfront in his diaries, he was a cold blooded killer.  Just amazing.

All and all it was a very good evening.  We had some good entertainment, the conservative rapper whose name I cannot remember at the moment, Victoria Jackson sang her "Communist in the White House" song standing about 100 feet from the White House, so that was pretty funny.

Here are some photos.

I was able to find some videos on You Tube.  I have this feeling these were posted by The Other McCain.  I actually got a chance to say hello today really quick.

Though we had a great turn out in Southern California, you have a much better venue and much more visibility. Thanks for posting the photos.

Bachmann? Lucky you! She ROCKS!

And Victoria Jackson sung the communist in the whitehouse song right next to the White House? Ha ha ha! That is COOL!

Hi JACG:
We attended the SWFL Tax Day Tea Party in Naples, FL. Really great turnout, too. I saw one infiltrator who was pointed out by 2 tea party guys the entire time (photo at my blog).
Sounds like you had a great day. Thanks for sharing it with us.
P.S. The blog looks great BTW.

That is funny, I met someone from Naples today. She came up for this; she has family in Maryland. Her work schedule won't allow her to come up for the 9/12 march.

It was a good time. I enjoyed myself today. We did the same things with our inflitators. We had a decent sized crowd of coffee partiers. They had this huge sign that said they represented the 95% of the people, and that they were thanking Obama. They also believe that taxes should be higher. Must be nice to be young and not have all the responsibilities that you have as you get older.

oh, and regarding taxes: congress under Obama has cut individuals' federal taxes by about $173 billion, leaving Americans with a lighter load despite nearly $29 billion in increases by states. (source: AP).

are you in favor of this or against it? it's honestly a little hard to tell.

Hometown Guy:
I sent a big whopping check to the IRS yesterday. Taxes will be increased, the size of government is growing in leaps and bounds. If you honestly believe that there isn't a price to paid for the all of the out of control spending that this congress and President is doing than you are delusional. What about broke don't you understand? The government is bigger than it was ever intended to be. That costs money. We cannot continue with spending money we don't have and borrowing money from Japan and China, or better yet just start up the printing press. That devalues the money that all of us has. The employment rate is not due to drop for years. This cannot continue. Any thinking person has to admit that.

If you had no money to pay your bills would take out a loan and go on a month long vacation? I would think you would not. The government needs to live like the rest of us do. Spend what you have.

i'm sorry to hear you paid more in taxes (that is what you are saying right?) i actually paid slightly less overall, although my state taxes were a little higher.

the president has proposed a pay-as-you-go law for the federal budget.

democratic members of congress have committed in writing to bringing the bipartisan debt reduction commission's recommendations up for a vote when they issue them in december.

are you in favor either of those items?

Yes, and today they passed extended unemployment benefits that they have added to the debt. They say they are doing pay as you go, but when push comes to shove they don't do it. It is an emergency. The President has also already signed it. They are drunk with spending our money.

Get ready for state taxes to go up even further once these unfunded mandates for healthcare start hitting the states. It is all illusion that they are saving us money. They give you something with the right hand and take more with the left. It has to stop. We are broke!!!
