Marcia, Marcia, Marcia - Kennedy Doesn't Even Know Coakley's Name
During the Sunday push to try and save the campaign of Martha Coakley, the dems were bringing in everyone under the sun.
After a rally Congressman Patrick Kennedy, son of the late Ted Kennedy, was answering questions from the press. During the Bush bashing offensive, he didn't know her name. He kept calling her Marcia.
“If you think there’s magic out there and things can be turned around overnight, then you would vote for someone who could promise you that, like Scott Brown,” Kennedy said. “If you don’t, if you know that it takes eight years for George Bush and his cronies to put our country into this hole … then you know we have a lot of digging to do, but some work needs to be done and this president’s in the process of doing it and we need to get Marcia Coakley to help him to do that.”
Sadly, he said it on numerous occassions, so it will be hard to characterize it as a slip of the tongue.
Hey, isn't he the one who drinks? Maybe he had one too many before he showed up.

I would assign Dubya only 10% blame, give or take, for the mess the country is in right now, and that 10% is attributed to things he DIDN'T DO, rather than things he did. He didn't veto any wild spending bills with earmarks out the yahoo for the first 6 years of his administration. He didn't stick to his guns in reigning in the criminal activities of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, and their sponsors Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Franklin Raines, and all of those guys who legislated money into the hands of deadbeats under penalty to refuse this kind of idiocy.
OF course these guys still point the finger at Dubya, why not? Lots of Massachusetts dolts believe them still. Quite a few no longer do, I noticed the Quinnapiac (sp?) poll had Brown up 3 points, with the margin of error at 3. Quinnapiac leans left, so my take is that Brown is the clear leader going into the election tomorrow. If this happens, I am going to do a war dance in my front yard, screaming that we are on the march!
And wasn't it Pat Kennedy who crashed his car outside the Capitol building several years ago, drunker than hell, and signed up for rehab before any charges could be filed, or even an investigation initiated - That Pat Kennedy?
Yes indeedy, that Kennedy.
Every village has its idiot and here in RI, Patrick is ours.
