Eva Longoria Parker was a guest at The State Dinner for the President of Mexico last night. With her parents being Mexican immigrants I guess the press decided she was a good person to ask about the Arizona immigration law. Her response:
"The main message he can give is that he opposes (the new Arizona law)," she told reporters and photographers on the White House red carpet. "And that came through today."
Had she left it at that, she would have been OK, but she went further:
"You can't have these states doing their own punitive laws,"
Apparently she is not aware of the 10th amendment. I guess she needs to keep her day job, as constitutional scholar is out of reach.
