Aah, you just have to love government. In a time when people are still losing jobs, are under employed, unemployed, and just plain struggling to keep their heads above water, Ann Arbor has found the money to fund a three piece water sculpture.
The sculpture is going to cost $850,000. Not really a very large sum of money in the terms of government, but when they are laying off fireman and are millions in the red, the context of what they are doing is quite different.
Michigan is not all the different than California. The liberal policies are just digging them in deeper and deeper.
This would be funny if it weren't so sad. Not only are real people losing jobs, but vital public services are being put behind a sculpture to make the courthouse look pretty. Only a liberal could justify this.
