Gov. Huntsman has said his farewell after a disappointing third place finish in New Hampshire. He never really had a chance in this cycle. For good or bad, his appointment from President Obama was not something the grassroots looked too kindly upon.
Perry shouldn't be too far behind.

Huntsman stunk of Obama, that's for sure.
He needed to leave.
I went and looked up his record as governor. It wasn't so bad.
interestingly, he may have been someone both sides (minus the furthest left and right) could have agreed on.
Yeah, guy you are correct. He was just so damaged by working for Obama to the grassroots that they wouldn't even consider him. He had some good qualities that would have worked well in office. He governed to the right, but was able to talk like a centerist, where the country is.
