Quote of the Day - Occupy Wall Street Edition Part 5

“The other day, I took in $2,000. I kept $650 for my group, and gave the rest to Finance. Then I went to them with a request -- so many people need things, and they should not be going without basic comfort items -- and I was told to fill out paperwork. Paperwork! Are they the government now?”
Bryan Smith, 45 TV Producer from Los Angeles who is now in charge of the comfort group at OWS.

But, but, but, I thought the government was a good thing?  Don't they want you to pay more taxes so the government can take in more money and give people comfort items?

Honestly, do these people think their belief systems through to the logical conclusion?

It is delicious watching these people reinvent bureaucracy. Heh, heh, heh.

If any significant portion of these occupiers do start thinking their belief systems through to their logical conclusions, the OWS crowd will soon find that their flow of free food and funding has mysteriously dried up, the MSM no longer loves them, and they just can't seem to get the permits that government officials have suddenly remembered are required.
