"There’s no question at times of my life, partially driven by how passionately I felt about this country, that I worked far too hard and things happened in my life that were not appropriate. And what I can tell you is that when I did things that were wrong, I wasn’t trapped in situation ethics, I was doing things that were wrong, and yet, I was doing them. I found that I felt compelled to seek God’s forgiveness. Not God’s understanding, but God’s forgiveness."
OMG - This is what he comes up with all these years later? One would think since so much time has passed he would have thought of a better excuse then this.
I actually do sort of see what he is saying, as I do believe that married people that start having very close friendships with people of the opposite sex it can lead to trouble. Not that it will always lead to an affair, but in many cases it will.
In any event, why are you even bothering to run for president? You can't win the republican nomination. The democrats would give you a pass on this, but the republicans will not. Sorry, but you when you screwed around on your wives you lost any chance of being president.
NEXT.

Yeah, that caught my attention, too. No to Newt. No to Mitt.
I would say NO to mitt first, then No to newt...
But he has no chance. He's an old white guy. Please. That's not going to win the race.
Maybe a Rand Paul, but forget ALL the usual suspects as far as I'm concerned.
Show me someone who promises to close down the Dept of Energy and I'll get excited. All this 'cut spending' nonsense is seriously boring.
