Scott Brown Polling Ahead of Martha Coakley

The latest polls now have state senator Scott Brown pulling ahead of attorney general Martha Coakley 50 to 47.

Scott Brown is winning among independents by a large margin 65% to 30%

17% of democrats are supporting Scott Brown.

Brown has also raised at least a million dollars everyday this week.  His average donation is under $75.

This pollster was the only one who predicted Hillary Clinton's win in New Hampshire 2008.

Martha Coakley has done much of this to herself.  In an interview on Wednesday she said the following

Ken Pittman: Right, if you are a Catholic, and believe what the Pope teaches that any form of birth control is a sin. ah you don’t want to do that.

Martha Coakley: No we have a seperation of church and state Ken, lets be clear.

Ken Pittman: In the emergency room you still have your religious freedom.

Martha Coakley: (……uh, eh…um..) The law says that people are allowed to have that. You can have religious freedom but you probably shouldn’t work in the emergency room.

Nice, so this woman thinks she has the right to tell people of faith where to work.  Why in heck did the people of MA vote for this woman in the primary?

Her ever evolving story of her aide and the reporter certainly has not helped matters.  But, what I think is the most important factor in this is the sheer arrogance of this woman.  She has behaved like the seat belonged to her once the primary was over.  If she does indeed lose this race, she may want to rethink that 6 day vacation she took after the primary.

Even the left leaning paper Boston Herald is stunned:

Boston Herald opinion writer Howie Carr believes he’s seeing a trend already in the absentee voting. Carr says, “It becomes increasingly clear, Scott Brown is winning among the people who work for a living, as opposed to Democrats, who are Martha’s voters.

Pat Robertson; what is wrong with the right

"And you know Kristi, something happened a long time ago in Haiti and people might not want to talk about it. They were under the heel of the French, uh you know Napoleon the third and whatever. And they got together and swore a pact to the Devil. They said we will serve you if you'll get us free from the French. True Story. And so the Devil said "OK, it's a deal." And they kicked the French out. You know, the Haitians revolted and got themselves free. But ever since they have been cursed by one thing after the other, desperately poor. That island is Hispaniola is one island. It's cut down the middle. On one side is Haiti, on the other side is the Dominican republic. Dominican Republic is prosperous, healthy, full of resorts, etc.. Haiti is in desperate poverty. Same island. Uh, they need to have, and we need to pray for them, a great turning to God and out of this tragedy. I'm optimistic something good may come."

Pat Robertson's comment on the tragedy that has befallen the people of Haiti is shameful. This is exactly what is wrong with the religious right. The entire purpose of Jesus' ministry was to bring hope to the people that the temple left behind. His vision was to bring the word of God to everyone, to make people feel that they were worthy of the love that only God can provide. He surrounded himself with people who, at the time, were not considered to be the righteous according to the hierarchy at the temple. One of his apostles was a tax collector for Rome, not exactly a popular job. He helped the people suffering from leprosy who not only were dealing with physical illness but also were shunned from society at large. His short ministry was about making the people on the fringes of society to feel welcomed and loved. His forgiveness knew no bounds, nor did his love. It seems that Pat Robertson has forgotten that. He is saying that innocent children were killed while attending school because they deserved it. Innocent God fearing people have lost everything they own, which was not much to begin with. The country of Haiti’s problem is due to a corrupt and unstable government. A government that has let its people down at every turn.

During the Bush administration I was put into a situation that I felt that I had to defend him. Not because I was a big fan of his, but because of how low the dissent became. When Obama took office and I realized that I needed to become more active in the political system, I was determined to surround myself with people who wanted to bring about positive change and to not lower themselves to same level. Statements like this make that almost impossible. People who disagree with what I believe in will use these statements to lump me into a pack that believes this nonsense.

I have a good number of "friends" on facebook. Many of which I have never met, but believe in returning our country to our constitutional roots. I sometimes get very useful information from this source. When President Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize, the posts ”breaking news, Obama won the PBA and PGA championships with the same ball" had me laughing so hard that tears were literally running down my cheeks. Yesterday I was reading some comment streams about Haiti and Pat Robertson. I was embarrassed and ashamed that I have anything to do with people who made the statements that I was reading. Not only were some people agreeing with him, but expounding on his statement. I have de-friended some of these people.

I also was reading statements from people who have such a blind hatred of President Obama that they were saying how no one should be giving money to the fundraising that is being conducted on the White House site. The money goes to USAID, a program that has been in existence for a long time. The administration is trying to make it easy for Americans to give to people whose lives have been devastated. There is no evil intent. A friend of mine was being attacked for saying that it is ok for tax money to be used to help these people. She was being called a "liberal troll".

It is a sad statement of where our country is. I don’t agree with President Obama. I think his world view is wrong, naive, bad for Americans as well as bad for people in general. I don't want to live in quasi-socialist country like France. I truly believe that is what the President meant when he said "we are 5 days away from fundamentally changing America". His belief that regimes like Iran and North Korea will change their ways if we simply talk to them is not only wrong, but dangerous. His belief that Islamic terrorism can be solved by reasoning with the likes of Usama bin Laden is crazy. He and his followers have no intention of being reasoned with. It is quite plain and simple, they want us dead.

I believe that the facts are on our side. We can win these debates by using them. The American people are not stupid, they just need to be presented with the facts and ultimately will make the right choice. That is what I am hoping to do. Educate and empower people to get the facts in order to make an informed decision.

Mr. Robertson's comments just made that job that much harder. He has fed into the belief that people of faith and conservatives are narrow-minded bigots. I do not believe this to be the case for the majority of them.

Colin Powell's New Title - Influential Liberal

The Telegraph out of the UK is doing a list of the top 100 most influential American liberals and conservatives.  Here is number #78 on the liberal list.

78. Colin Powell (23)

Although officially a Republican, Powell secretly met then Senator Barack Obama in 2006 and urged him to run for President. Then, he endorsed the Democratic candidate in the home stretch of the 2008 election at the most damaging possible time for his old friend Senator John McCain.

A former National Security Adviser under Ronald Reagan and Secretary of State under George W. Bush, Powell was central to making the case for the Iraq war at the United Nations, an act for which he now appears determined to atone. He has denied wanting a seat in Obama’s cabinet but as the former Gulf War military commander he would be a natural choice for Pentagon chief when Bob Gates eventually steps down. Alternatively, Powell would probably jump at being Secretary for Education – the subject closest to his heart since George W. Bush dispensed with his services as Secretary of State after the 2004 election.

Having passed up the opportunity to bid to become the first black President when he pondered running against Bill Clinton in 1996, Powell appears heavily invested in doing everything he can to help the man who subsequently achieved that feat.

Coakley Campaign Pushing Back With a Little Help from the DSCC

Last night senate candidate Martha Coakley held an expensive fundraising dinner at Sonoma's (one of my faves btw) in Washington DC. The fundraiser was attended by what else but lobbyists. Coakley was asked by Fox News what she was doing in Washington and told Griff Jenkins that she was there for a pre-planned "Unity" event.

John McCormack from The Weekly Standard was asking why she was holding a fundraiser with healthcare industry interests. He also was trying to get some clarification on her statement in Monday’s night debate that there are no longer any terrorists in Afghanistan. The reporter was giving her a chance to step back from a stupid comment. If there no more terrorists in Afghanistan who is that is killing our serviceman there? Who killed those CIA agents?

Coakley was not all that interested in answering any questions from him. The reporter was doing what reporters do, and followed her trying to get his questions answered. While asking his questions he was then pushed into a metal railing and fell to the ground. Unfortunately for the campaign there are pictures and video of the event. The AP was able to get a good shot of the man with Coakley helping the reporter up.

It seems that this man is none other than Michael Meehan, who was loaned out to the campaign from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Nice, the DSCC is now pushing reporters to the ground for having the audacity to ask a candidate for statewide office a question. How dare he?

The Weekly Standard has been unable to confirm that the man who pushed him is indeed Michael Meehan; below are some pictures. You can decide for yourselves if it is the same man. Looks like him to me.

AP Photo taken of man helping up the reporter.  The Coakley campaign is saying that they don't know who the man is. Doesn't it seem a little bizarre that the campaign doesn't know who the man is and he is this close to her?

Updated Polls - Coakley and Brown a Statistical Tie

The Latest Numbers as of 1/11/10

Coakley 49%

Brown 47%

A Republican being two points behind one week before election day is amazing.  Scott Brown may not be able to pull of this miracle, but he already has given the democratic party a shot across the bough.  He should not be this close.  President Obama won the state by an almost 3 to 1 margin, and he still has a postive approval rating.

Scott Brown had a "Moneybomb" grassroots fundraising event yesterday and raised more than $1.3 million, with the majority of the donations being under $100.

Wednesday night Martha Coakley held an expensive fundraiser with lobbyists in Washington DC.

Wasn't it President Obama that said over and over again that lobbyists is what is wrong with our government?

Hmm, under that paradigm wouldn't Obama have to vote for Scott Brown, the people's candidate?

Slip Sliding Away - Obama Poll Numbers

CBS is polling the president at 46% approval rating. Another interesting stat from CBS is that only 36% approve of Obama's handling of the healthcare debate.

Rasmussen has the President at 46% approval rating. 26% strongly approve and 40% strongly disapprove -14 approval index rating.

A 2 to 1 margin believes that the bailouts hurt the economy.

55% disapprove of the healthcare reform bills before Congress.

The President's ratings are falling on a continuous basis.

Loretta King Sanctioned Again - Holder's Justice Department Far Left Ideology

Loretta King, a member of Holder's Justice Department, has been sanctioned again. The DOJ attorney has been personally fined for the department's lack of responsiveness to members of congress, among others, to inquiries into the dropping of charges against the New Black Panther Party. This case involves voter intimidation issues on Election Day, when cameras caught members of the New Black Panther Party holding jimmy clubs while standing outside a polling place in Philadelphia during the election of President Obama.

This is at least the second time that Ms. King has been sanctioned by the court. The first case involved "unconstitutional race-based districting". In this case, we the taxpayers, paid more than a half million dollars in fees. The federal court found her team "surprisingly blind to its own impropriety"

Ms. King was also involved in the recent case in Kinston, NC to overrule the voters’ wishes to forgo party affiliation to be listed on all local ballots. The DOJ put its nose into a local matter that was fairly settled by the voters of that community. Apparently, if democrats were not properly identified on the ballots, people of color voting rights were in jeopardy. Another word, people of color are stupid to know who to vote for unless they are able to see the D at the end of the name.

One of the most interesting things in this is the judge who came to this decision, a former counselor for the ACLU; hardly a right-wing ideologue. Members of congress, among others, are pushing the DOJ for the paperwork that show how the decision was made to drop the charges against the panthers. Holder's DOJ has been dragging its heels and refusing to turn over the paperwork, which is by all accounts, not subject to privilege.

Loretta King has a record of using her position in government to promote her far left views, and her own version of racial equality. A version that always falls on the side of the person of color, regardless of the law says. It is time that President Obama and Attorney General Holder put the law first, because this woman obviously does not.

Once a Dog.........Slick Willy Still Sleeping Around

Another revelation from Game Change is that Bill Clinton still can't keep his pants on. During the nomination campaign Camp Hillary had a war room that worked only on Slick Willy's proclivities for younger women. Apparently, not only has he not given them up, he was involved in a romantic relationship during the run up to the campaign.

Hillary put her most trusted people in charge of running the background checks on her husband's extra-circular activities after hearing repeated rumors and concerns from potential "super-delegates" that she would need to get the nomination. Team Hillary wanted to be prepared if and when it came out during the campaign. It seems that some high placed republicans were aware of the affair, but kept it quiet until it was needed for the fall campaign.

I actually had a great deal of admiration of how Hillary handled her public humiliation. I don't think I would have handled it with as much grace as she did. You have to wonder why she stays with him.

Ok, I understand why Al is not mad at Harry. Harry wasn't insulting negros, he was insulting me.

The more that I have thought about Harry Reid's statement, the more I realized that he wasn't saying anything about blacks. President Obama was right to accept his apology. What Harry Reid was really saying is that President Obama was "white" enough to be palpable to average white voter.

His skin color wasn't so dark that he would look like he came off the boat from Africa, he was well educated, and he could give a good speech, and didn't talk like he came from the ghetto. All the things that white people in this country would need to find it within themselves to vote for a black man.

After all, we wouldn’t ever vote for someone who spoke "negro". That is a language that me as a person can't understand!!

Now, it is pretty obvious that I didn't vote for the president. So, I guess I don't fall into his theory. After all, according to President Carter, Janeane Garafalo, Keith Olbermann and many others it I am just an up and up racist, but for the rest of whites who did, this was the man who could get the white vote.

Now, shouldn't the President and the Democratic Party be upset that he is insulting white people in this way? President Obama's statement in 2002 about Trent Lott told a very different story:

"The Republican Party itself has to drive out Trent Lott. If they have to stand for something, they have to stand up and say this is not the person we want representing our party."

So, don't worry President Obama and Rev. Al, I understand why you accepted his apology. His comments were not directed at you.

Why Can Dems Say Racists Things?

"He [Reid] was wowed by Obama's oratorical gifts and believed that the country was ready to embrace a black presidential candidate, especially one such as Obama -- a 'light-skinned' African American 'with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one,' "

Had a republican said this, people would want their head on a stick.  Trent Lott made a statement at a birthday party for a man that once ran for the office of president.  He was trying to make kind remarks to an old man.  The comments were insenstive and not well thought out, but were in no way meant to say that the dixiecrat party beliefs were ok.  Nor did the word "negro" come up.  If you go and look back at the speech he never mentioned race at all.  All he said was that he would have made a good president.  Everyone turned their back on Lott at the time, including President Bush.  Lott had no choice but to resign his leadership position.

First of all, who uses the word negro anymore?  This is a term that has not been used in decades, and for many is considered a put down.  This is a man who made a reference to slaverly just a few short weeks ago.  It is the democrats that keeping bringing racial overtones into the national converstation.  It is time that they put or shut up when it comes to race. You want to say that you are the party that cares about the minorities in this country then prove it.  Stop bringing race onto the national stage and trying to make the divides in this country even worse than they already are.

Where is Jesse Jackson and Rev. Al Shartpton now?  I can guarantee you had a republican used these words, we would be hearing plenty.

How Low Can They Go? Dems Plan to Stall Brown's Swearing In

DEMS Intend to Stall Scott Brown's Swearing-In Until AFTER Obamacare Vote?

Today, a spokesman for Secretary of the Commonwealth William Galvin, who is overseeing the election but did not respond to a call seeking comment, said certification of the Jan. 19 election by the Governor’s Council would take a while.

“Because it’s a federal election,” spokesman Brian McNiff said. “We’d have to wait 10 days for absentee and military ballots to come in.”

Another source told the Herald that Galvin’s office has said the election won’t be certified until Feb. 20 - well after the president’s address.

Since the U.S. Senate doesn’t meet again in formal session until Jan. 20, Bay State voters will have made their decision before a vote on health-care reform could be held. But Kirk and Galvin’s office said today a victorious Brown would be left in limbo.

In contrast, Rep. Niki Tsongas (D-Lowell) was sworn in at the U.S. House of Representatives on Oct. 18, 2007, just two days after winning a special election to replace Martin Meehan. In that case, Tsongas made it to Capitol Hill in time to override a presidential veto of the expansion of the State Children’s Health Insurance Program.

Yesterday, Brown, who has been closing the gap with Coakley in polls and fund raising, blasted the political double standard.

"This is a stunning admission by Paul Kirk and the Beacon Hill political machine,” said Brown in a statement. “Paul Kirk appears to be suggesting that he, Deval Patrick, and (Senate Majority Leader) Harry Reid intend to stall the election certification until the health care bill is rammed through Congress, even if that means defying the will of the people of Massachusetts. As we’ve already seen from the backroom deals and kickbacks cut by the Democrats in Washington, they intend to do anything and everything to pass their controversial health care plan. But threatening to ignore the results of a free election and steal this Senate vote from the people of Massachusetts takes their schemes to a whole new level. Martha Coakley should immediately disavow this threat from one of her campaign’s leading supporters.”

Please take this story VIRAL. This is TOO MUCH. If they do this...

And Light Comes On - Janet Napolitano Finally Gets It

During a press conference, Janet Napolitano, the head of Homeland Security, admits that she is "surprised by al-Qaeda's determination".  Where in heavens name has this woman been for the past 8 years?  Was she out of the country when we were attacked on 9/11?  Has she picked up a newspaper in the past 8 years?

It really has to make one wonder what was the Obama administration thinking?  Is it that they believed that they would take office, make nice with the Middle East and everything would be fine?  Simply doing the opposite of President Bush is not making us any safer now is it?

The reality is that the problems that led to 9/11 can be traced back to at least the Carter administration.  President Carter's inability to deal with the hostages that were held in Iran for more than 400 days emboldened the jihadists that America was weak.  President Reagan made them believe more profoundly when he pulled out the troops in Beriut after the bombing of the Marine Barracks.  President Clinton did the same things with the decisions that were made about Somalia, and after the attacks on the African embassies and the USS Cole bombing.  The reality is we did nothing after the Cole was bombed.  President Clinton viewed it as criminal matter.  I heard him interviewed after his biography came out and he said that they didn't have enough evidence to convict him in a court of law.  While that may be true, the evidence was clear that he did it, they were just not able to have a chain of evidence that would hold up in court.  The pre 9/11 mentality. When we are going to start listening to Usama bin Laden?  He has made it very clear that he feels that we are weak, and not prepared to stay the fight.  They believe that they can wait us out.

The woman that President Obama put in charge of protecting the homeland is "surprised"?  This should outrage every American regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum.  These are people who use children and women as shields.  These are people who send kids to blow themselves up.  These are people who mutilated our servicemen.  These are people who beat women for showing strands of hair in public.  These are people who throw acid in the faces of young girls who are doing nothing more than trying to get an education and better their lot in life.  These are people who are still fighting a war that ended in the 1600's.

The chorus for this woman to resign needs to get louder and louder.  A person who is surprised that they would send a bomb on plane is utterly and profoundly unqualified for this position.  This is the person that President Obama put in charge of keeping our country safe?  That is only the surprise.

Ed Koch Speaking Out, White House Calls to Complain

Former Mayor of New York, Ed Koch has been speaking out on President Obama's handling of the knickerbomber.  After making these statements he received a call from the White House to tell him he is being too hard on the President.

This White House is the biggest bunch of babies and whine bags that I have ever seen.  It is time that they suck it up.  Criticism is part and parcel of the job.  If you didn't want people to criticize you, you shouldn't have run for the office.

Get a back bone. He is an American and has the right to speak his mind against his government. Last time I checked we still have a constitution.

Koch would not say who he got the phone call from.  I smell a dead fish, what about you?

Al Gore Blowing Hot Air - The Frozen Gore

A 2 ton sculpture has been erected outside a liquor store in Fairbanks, Alaska.  The two businessman that had the sculpture made have been trying to get Vice President Gore to come to Alaska for a debate on man-made global warming.

This is the second year that a sculpture has been put up.  Last year, Al Gore's people said that scheduling prevented him from coming; although a date had never been listed in the request.

This year the sculpture is hooked up to an exhaust pipe that makes the statue look like it is blowing out hot air.  While Craig Compeau and Rudy Gavora believe that there are climate changes occuring, they question if they are indeed man-made and are questioning Al Gore's financial motives behind his theory.  Al Gore is in a position to become a billionaire with his investments in green technology.  They are also questioning the claims that polar bears numbers are dwindling, as the data now shows that the populations are increasing world wide as well Alaska.

The AARP and The Millions To Be Made with Healthcare Reform

With the so-called healthcare reform bill on the verge of being passed, we need to take a look at who is going to profit. When it comes to politics, you always need to follow the money. Both versions of the healthcare bill are going to be allegedly financed by cuts to Medicare. One of the programs that are due to be completely eliminated or severely cut is Medicare Advantage.

Medicare Advantage is a program that allows middle class people to get a wrap-around type policy to cover the gaps that Medicare doesn't pay that are partially subsided by the government. The costs of what is not included in Medicare can be quite costly; especially if you have to take a great deal of medication. This program has been touted as wasteful and ineffective by the democrats. This was mentioned to me by both Senator Webb and Senator Warner's staff during my visits to their offices. When these programs are gutted, the millions of people who are using this program will be forced to go out and find another policy. In walks AARP.

AARP's membership dues is low, only $16 per year. AARP certainly cannot afford its business expenses on membership dues alone. If you are 50 or older you know how much mail they send out. Those mailings costs about .30/piece and they send millions out per month. I won't bore you with how I know that information, but I do.

One of the main sources of income for them is the royalties that they get from selling insurance policies. Last year alone they made almost three quarters of billion dollars. Yes, that is a B for billion. That is an amazing amount of money. No wonder they support the cuts to this program.

The board members of AARP should be ashamed of themselves for supporting a bill that is going to cause cuts to Medicare programs. The entire point of the organization is support the needs of the senior citizens in this country. With more cuts coming down the pike, the number of hospitals and medical providers who will accept Medicare will dwindle. They will be joining the likes of the Mayo Clinic of Arizona. The people who are going to be the most hurt by this legislation is going to be the very people that they say they represent. It seems to me that the only thing they are representing is the bottom line of their profit sheets.

Keith Olbermann, The Lunatic Left, & The CIA

Keith Olbermann has really hit an all-time low.  He has said that the CIA purposely did not follow up on the undies bomber to make President Obama look bad.  So, this lunatic believes that the professionals who risk thier lives to protect the American public would allow 300 innocent people to die, give al-Qaeda huge visibility and the jihadists additional recruiting tools just to make Obama look bad.  There is no way that they would have known that the bomb detonator would fail.  Or, does this guy think that they made sure that the bomb wouldn't go off before helping him onto the plane?

He is either saying that they were willing to let 300 people die or that they helped him while making sure the bomb wouldn't go off.  Those would be the only two logical choices.

This man is a lunatic.  There is no other way to describe this type of thought process.  Let's just say for the sake of arguement that the CIA did want to make President Obama look bad, there is no other way to do this?  Does he really think that they don't speak to the press as an anoymous source?  They could easily leak something that would be embarassing to the administration.  I am sure that Leon Penatta has given them plenty of ammo, since he has no experience whatsoever in the intelligence field.

The people who work at the CIA do the jobs that they do for a lower salary then they would make in the private sector, live a life that is full of secrecy, and gets little to no glory.  We should be heralding the people who are willing to do this for a living, not accusing of them of attempted murder.

What is wrong with this man?

Another One Bites the Dust - Chris Dodd Retiring

You have no idea how happy this makes me. I grew up in Connecticut, so this man was my senator virtually my entire life while living there. Now, I am 100% positive that he pressured into doing this. Dodd has an ego the size of all outdoors. He wouldn't have done this on his own. The polls were all against him, he had almost no chance of re-election. CT is another true blue state, and the powers that be didn't want to see the reliably liberal seat fall to republican hands. Now that he has dropped out, it will be harder for the republicans to take over the 30 year ultra-liberal seat.

The part of CT I lived in leans more conservative, Dodd doesn't normally win Fairfield County. I had told some friends that I would spend every weekend in CT working to get him out of office. I am not going to kid myself into thinking that a republican will be able to take this seat. It is very smart move for the Democratic Party, as the seat will more than likely stay in hands of the liberals. There are not really blue dogs in CT. That beast doesn't really exist there. My family there must be doing cartwheels. YEAH!!!!

Coakley V. Brown Poll Numbers - Special Election in MA

The one and only poll being done by a national pollster has been completed:

Coakley - 50%

Brown -  41%

Undecided - 7%

Favorable/Unfavorable numbers:

Coakley
21% very favorable 22% very unfavorable

Brown
25% very favorable 5% very unfavorable

Independants numbers are as follows:

Coakley 21%

Brown 65%

These numbers are important as the fact is that people who have very strong opinions are the ones that are going to show up in special elections.

One of the fascinating things about these results is that Kennedy won this seat with 69% of the vote, so Martha Coakley only getting 50% of the vote is surprising.  This is a very blue state.

MA's healthcare was reformed in a way that is much like the national bill that is presently in congress.  The numbers for this is another view of what is going on with this election:

32% consider the reforms sucessful
36% consider the reforms a failure
32% undecided

National Healthcare Bill numbers:

36% strongly oppose
27% strongly favor

The most important number of all is:
People who are certain that they will vote brings Scott Brown within 2 points of Martha Coakley.

All and all, I would say that these are pretty positive numbers for Scott Brown.  After all, President Obama won the state with 62% of the vote.

Hillary, Hillary, Wherefor Art Thou, Hillary

10 days have passed since the underwear bomber failed at his attempt to kill 300 people on Christmas day. We have not heard from Sec. Clinton as of yet. Hillary is the head of the state department, the ones that gives out visas.

While I certainly don't think that Hillary is sitting around going through paperwork for visa applications, but it is her department that didn't rescind Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab's visa. It is her department that was first notified by the young man's father. Hilary needs to come out from wherever she happens to be and fes' up to what is going on.  The American people are waiting.  This is her department and ultimately she is responsible for the failures of it.

Ben Nelson, Omaha Steaks & Boycotts

The guys over at Hillbuzz asked the question if you could committ to making Ben Nelson's life a living a hell over the next month.  The readership replied with vigor.  A list of his top contributors has been posted, and the anti-obamacare activists got to work.

Omaha Steaks is one of Ben Nelson's largest contributors.  A person who actually is an active customer of Omaha Steaks sent an email to the customer service department and here is the response:

Dear Ms. (deleted),

We received your e-mail and reviewed your concerns. We understand that healthcare reform is of great concern to all Americans. We are confident, however, that boycotting Nebraska companies is not the answer to resolving the issues within the proposed legislation. Boycotting companies results in lost jobs and accomplishes nothing except to potentially hurt employees – fellow Americans like you – who rely on their jobs to provide for their families.

Sincerely,

Julie Davis
Customer Care Representative

OMG - can you believe that a company would be so arrogant to reply in this manner?  They will lay off employees before cutting ties with a politican?  What exactly does Senator Nelson do for them that they would be more loyal to him than to their customer base?

This is what we are up against.  A system that is so corrupted that it is almost impossible to change it.

The biggest irony of this story is the address of Omaha Steaks:

Omaha Steaks
10909 John Galt Blvd
P.O. Box 3300
Omaha, NE 68103

That's Right - John Galt Boulevard - God really does have a sense of humor.

If you have not been over to Hillbuzz, you need to go and check them out.  While conservatives may think that they have nothing in common with gay Hillary supporters, you will find that just isn't the case.  It is a great site that is working very hard to keep Obamanation's socialist policies from taking hold.
