Etta James' longtime manager has said that Etta James is terminally ill and in the last stages of her illness.

I love "It's just the thought of you". What a great rendition. I will have to get some of her stuff. I was always an Ella fan. But Etta gives her a run for her money.
So sorry she is ill. I will pray for her health and comfort.
I think the prayers for health are a little too late from what I read. But her comfort is what is in order at this point.
I just love her voice and her passion.
