He needs to stop bringing up the old administration, but outside of that, he is great. Telling it like it is.

Confession is Good for the Soul - 'Fess Up to Pelosi
If you’re on Twitter and you disagree with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, you should confess your sins and save her the trouble of having you investigated. Just address your tweet to @SpeakerPelosi, spill your guts, and tag it #ConfessToPelosi if you’ve still got room.
It’s good for the soul. You’ll feel better. I know I did!
I thought this was pretty funny. I have not yet decided what I am going to confess to, but I will be tweeting her later today.

Quote of the Day - Max Baucus Edition - The Screwing of America
“I don’t think you want me to waste my time to read every page of the health care bill. You know why? It’s statutory language, We hire experts.”
“It’s not perfect, nothing’s perfect, but I’m telling you, ma’am, it’s a good start, Mark my words, several years from now you’re going to look back and say, ‘eh, maybe it isn’t so bad.’”
Max Baucus at a town hall meeting in Libby
How would he know if it is perfect or not if he never read it? It is simply stunning that a piece of legislation that will affect every single American can be passed without being read, let alone understood, by congress.
It is pink slip time!!

The Hijacking of MLK's "I Have a Dream" Speech
"For Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin to have a march, they have the right to do so. Many of us suspect they are using the symbolism of that day in a way that does not reflect what that day is about. At no point will we interchange. We will not desecrate the march and what King stood for."
Al Sharpton
"It is very important that we convey a positive message that America belongs to everyone. Our rally is not an 'us against them'. We want no confrontation with Glenn Beck. But we want a confrontation with the ideas that he espouses. His ideas seem to be ideas of intolerance."
Marc Morial President of The National Urban League.
".....I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal."
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification; one day right there in Alabama, little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers....."
Dr. Martin Luther King
Where in the above excerpts would anyone get the idea that Dr. King wouldn't want a white man to celebrate his speech? This is exactly what Dr. King wanted, for us to come together as Americans and people of faith and take pride in our heritage as Americans. Yet, the race baiters are out in full force to say that Beck and by extension the people that will show up this weekend are somehow disrespecting the amazing legacy of Dr. King. We must RAAAACIST.
I can in no way be as eloquent as tea party favorite Lloyd Marcus was with latest article.
These are the same hypocritical so-called black leaders who demanded that white America honor the memory of the civil rights icon with MLK Boulevards across America. But when a "white boy" chooses to embrace Dr. King's vision and dream by holding his "Restoring Honor" rally on the same day as Dr. King's historic speech, the Black Civil Rights Mafia, the race profiteers, yell, "How dare you? MLK belongs to us!"
I am a black American who wishes to thank brother Beck for honoring Dr. King in such a powerful way. Beck's "Restoring Honor" rally is linking the restoration of our great nation's Godly principles, freedom, liberty, and culture to the black civil rights leader. Beck's rally is a wonderful tribute to the man I remember, when I was a little boy, as being larger than life. I was there, August 28, 1963, in Washington, D.C. with my dad -- yellow school buses lined up and black people as far as I could see. I do not remember feeling hate in the air. Dr. King spoke of all Americans yielding to God, righteousness, and brotherhood. Sounds like Beck to me."

Go West - Allen West on his Primary Victory
Love, love, love this man!!!
Statement by LTC(R) Republican Congressional Candidate
(FL- District 22) Allen West on Tonight’s Primary Victory
(Deerfield Beach, FL) “This evening, after nearly 2 years of hard work, our campaign to restore honor, integrity and character to Washington reached an important milestone. With a vast majority of the precincts having reported their results, we will have defeated David Brady by a margin of nearly 4 to 1. With GOP turnout significantly higher than democratic turnout throughout District 22, our victory tonight is proof that South Floridians are sick and tired of the status-quo in Washington, and are looking for leaders instead of politicians.
Tonight, the tone has been set. Over the next 2 months, we will continue to draw a contrast between Ron Klein’s Ultra-Liberal policies that have bankrupted our district, our state and our Country, versus my principled leadership. I am confident that – 70 days from tonight – the good people of Florida’s 22nd Congressional District will be firing Pelosi’s favorite Florida son, Ron Klein.”

Quote of the Day - Brad Pitt Edition
"I was never for the death penalty before -- I am willing to look at it again."
Brad Pitt, speaking about what he would like to do to BP executives if he had his way.
Hmm, keep murderers alive, but kill BP executives. I am against the death penalty in all cases, a sancity of life thing for me, but on the rare occasion that someone makes me rethink my view of the death penalty, it isn't business executives that come to mind. For me, it was Susan Smith who drowned her two baby boys.
But, hey that is just me.

What Conservatives Should Learn From Speaker Pelosi
Nanny Pelosi, while a crazy leftist, is not stupid. At least when it comes to political strategy. She has been planning her far left agenda for quite some time. She was methodical in getting the majorities that she now enjoys. Her first job was increase the numbers in 2002. That set up the democrats regaining control in 2004. One of the ways that she did this was to pay attention to the needs of the individual districts. She paid attention to what the voters felt comfortable with. Out came the blue dogs.
In 08 when the democrats had a filibuster proof majority and the presidency she pushed her far left agenda. While they were not able to get through everything on their wish list, they got health care, financial reform, and porkulus. Not everything they wished for, but enough. More than enough from my point of view. My point being that she worked over several years to get her majority where she needed it to be in order to get her agenda passed. When the tough votes were needed, she held her majority together, by hook or by crook.
This is what the tea party may be missing. The Tea Party is putting forth candidates that in some cases are a little out of the mainstream within certain districts. The Tea Party is having a very good effect in more republican strongholds, but that luck is not spreading to more democrat areas.
The Tea Party has spent a great deal of time going after the likes of Scott Brown on different occasions. Many are forgetting that Brown is being the senator that the majority of his voters want. He is polling higher than both Senator Kerry and President Obama.
The reality is we will not ever have 435 Michele Bachmans in the house and 100 Jim DeMints in the senate as good as they may sound to conservatives. What we need to work on is getting the numbers. Once you have the numbers you get a strong conservative leader in place and hold the majority together. A perfect example of what I am talking about is the California senate race. Chuck DeVore was the better conservative candidate, but Carly is the one that has the chance of giving "Call Me Senator" Boxer her long overdue pink slip. You then have a strong leader in the Senate to keep Carly in line.
By trying to force a district/state further right than they are comfortable in going you lose. Pelosi has proven you can get what you want by playing the numbers game. The Tea Party would be wise to take her lead.

Damon Dunn - A Patriot Running in California
Football fans may know the name, he used to play in the NFL. He has an amazing life story. His mom, who was very young when he was born and raised him alone, told him that attending college was the only option. He worked hard and made it to Stanford University. While there, he met Dr. Condi Rice. She explained to him what conservatism means. He didn't have many republicans explaining things to him while he was growing up. He worked hard and made it to the NFL. His career wasn't anything stellar and he decided to leave and start a real estate business. He did excel there. He is now running for Secretary of State in California. We need to spread the word and the green. He is one of the good guys.

The Gift That Keeps on Giving - Blago on Fox News Sunday
How in the heck did this man ever get elected Governor?
I have seen a couple of the jurors being interviewed and it seemed to be one person who was on Blago's side. This man actually believes that he can make a political comeback. No wonder America is in the mess that it is in.

Quote of the Day - Barney Franks' Come to Jesus Moment
"I hope by next year we'll have abolished Fannie and Freddie,....it was a great mistake to push lower-income people into housing they couldn't afford and couldn't really handle once they had it....I had been too sanguine about Fannie and Freddie."
Barney Frank to Larry Kudlow
Well, now that we have a housing meltdown he realizes that his policies were a mistake. Great.
Thanks Barney!!

Ten Bucks Fridays - Vote Up Folks
The reality is that the democrats have a large money advantage. Money is not the only thing that wins elections, but it is much more difficult to win without it.
The elections are getting closer and closer. We need to step up and help the candidates that we want to win. If you don't have any extra money, then get out and knock on doors to get the word out. Just ask yourself, can this country take another two years of democrat control?

Code Pink to Gold Star Mom - "Your Son Deserved to Die"
When you hear things like this is it any wonder that conservatives are completely appalled by the far left lunatics? Marc Allen Lee was killed in the line of duty in Iraq in 2006. Marc who had a family that loved him and was proud of his decision to serve our country. A family that now really understands what the ultimate sacrifice really means. They understand what means in way that I simply just don't, as I have never come home to a Chaplain standing on my porch to inform me that someone I loved is dead.
Debbie Lee, Marc's mom, does understand this. Since her son's death she has worked tirelessly to help our vets and their families. She works to make sure that they receive the benefits and respect that their service deserves. She works full time with Move America Forward, a non-profit that she helped co-found.
She spends some of her time defending our troops against the likes of Code Pink who are not just anti-war, but are socialists who believe that our military should be disbanded. One such an occasion was when Code Pink and crew were trying to shut down the military recruiting offices in Berkeley, CA. This is when she told Ms. Lee that her son deserved to die. A statement like that is inhumane. The entire reason that this lunatic is able to say these things is because this boy died for her freedoms.
Jodi Evans is now trying to help elect Jerry Brown the governor of California. She is a former campaign manager for him when he tried to run for president, and is currently raising money for his efforts at office in November. That should tell everyone everything that you need to know about Jerry Brown. One of Ms. Evans' bff is none other Cindy Sheehan. It leaves one to wonder if Evans believes that Sheehan's son also deserved to die. No matter what I think about Sheehan's politics she has lost a child, the worst thing that can happen to a person. For that she has my deepest sympathies and gratitude for the service he performed to protect my freedoms.
This is information that needs to spread around California far and wide. People need to know that a man running for governor is taking money from a woman who has called terrorists in Iraq who kill American soldiers freedom fighters, while she in the same breath says that our bravest deserve to die. That she is involved with helping finance the flotilla to Gaza along with William Ayers, that she admires Chavez who is a dictator who kills and jails anyone who disagrees with him. She also has raised money for the opposition in Iraq. This is not a woman who has America's best interests at heart. Matter of fact, if it can be proven that she is raising money for the people fighting against America in Iraq she belongs in jail for treason.

Go West - Allen West's Speech to the Florida Republican Party Before Tuesday's Primary
