There is Hope for this Country Yet

College students were having none of Francis Piven's nonsense and outright lies that the Tea Party is a bunch of racists.  While I do find it very strange that she was asked to speak at Messiah College.  I don't know what they expected her to say.  Her book speaks for itself.  The destruction of The U.S. is her goal, by any means possible. 

I am sure that the left is looking at this video and wondering why college students were allowed to be so rude to speaker.  Welcome to our world.  This is what happens to conservatives routinely.

I have been saying for quite a long while, that the veil of the new Democratic party is lifting and the true picture is not pretty. 

The Occupy Wall Street Protesters are showing their true colors.

I say let them protest.  The more they do, the more they show themselves for who they are really are.  The selfishness and the anti-semitism being exhibited is something that all voters in this country need to see.  This is where this country is heading if Obama gets re-elected.

This young man can't even articulate why his education should be free other than someone else makes more money than he does.  He has no clue that we pay some of the highest corporate tax rates in the world.  He has not idea that the top 10% of tax payers already pay 67% of the bills.  He just knows that he wants something for nothing.  Just imagine if college were free in this country.  We already have free primary education, and the drop rates in some cities is over 50%.  When something is given to you, you rarely see the value in it.  Hard work is good for you, it builds character. 


These protests have very little to do with protecting the poor, it is about greed and wanting what some else has worked for. 


He should be fighting for people like her, instead of whining about himself.

It never occurs to people like him that one of the reasons that blacks have higher rates of unemployment is the horrid public school system, a system that he and the unions defend to the death. Without an education the chances of people lifting themselves out of poverty is very difficult.


I have a tea party acquaintance that lives in D.C.; she volunteers her time to do tutoring to under-privileged children. Once the voucher system came back, she asked one of the mothers if she wanted some help in filling out the application for the lottery. The woman told her she didn't want her son going to some white school because he wouldn't learn how to fight. This decision by this woman is now putting her young son in the position that he has barely over a 50% chance of getting a high school diploma, based on dropout rates. His chances of getting a college education is even less. How is racism to blame for this? This is a mindset. Exactly what Herman Cain is trying to change. A change that the likes of Belafonte and Sharpton want to prevent

Today is Take Your Child to a Protest Day

Today being Columbus Day and many school children around the country have the day off from school, the "organizers" of Occupy Wall Street have decided that today this is a good time for a "Kids Speak Out Day". 

"Even as banks got bailed out, American children have witnessed their parents get tossed out of their homes and lose their jobs. Public school kids have lost arts, music and physical education, now our kids can see activists take these issues to the streets in a democratic forum at Occupy Wall Street."

Lovely.  Will anyone be taking a poop on police car while they are there? 

“Most of the kids are trust-fund babies. They don’t need to be here,” said Andre, 40, an activist. “I’ve seen some making out, having sex. It doesn’t look good.”

Are they going to be doing something about that before the school kids come?  Or what about this:

Many of the newcomers to the tent city are attracted by the donated freebies: pizza, sandwiches, fruit, as well as bins of sweaters, pants, boots, even underwear. There are also handout comforters for anyone who wants 40 winks.


And with complimentary condoms on hand, a 1960s-style free love has begun to blossom. More than 400 participants spent the night Friday huddling and cuddling in Zuccotti Park.

So, the organizers of this "leaderless" protest believes that bringing young children down to witness these things are a good idea?  This is democracy in action according to them. 

Yet another reason to homeschool. 

Pelosi V. Cantor on Wall Street Protesters

"I didn't hear him say anything when the Tea Party was out demonstrating, actually spitting on members of Congress right here in the Capitol. And he and his colleagues were putting signs in the windows encouraging them. But let's not get down to that."

Nancy Pelosi on Eric Cantor's statement that he was worried about the Wall Street Protesters.  So, let's see, first and foremost, the spitting never happened.  At least not in the context that Nanny would like people to believe in this statement.  The video evidence of what happened was found, quite a while ago in fact.  It was a say it don't spray it situation.  There was no intent to spit on any member of congress during any tea party.  The Tea Party was responsible for shutting down one of the offices of congress when after Speaker Pelosi's office refused to open the door, let alone speak to the protesters they ripped up paper from a copy of Obamacare.  I witnesses that event, and at the time said it was a bad idea to allow ourselves to be provoked in this manner.  But what wasn't widely reported was the fact that other members of the tea party went back into the building and help clean up the mess after the offices were re-opened. 

Here are the facts, not one person who was attending a Tea Party protest as a real member of the Tea Party has been arrested.  Now, when the left sends their agitators, they get arrested, or bite off some poot guy's finger, but no Tea Party member has been arrested.  We have never demanded to use the restrooms in private businesses even when though we are not paying customers of those businesses.  We have not taken over any park and said to hell with the people who live in that neighborhood.  When two young people walked through the crowd at the Glenn Beck rally last August wearing Obama T-shirts to provoke the crowd, they themselves said that only thing that was said to them is that they would prayed for.  Other than that, all they got was strange looks.  I am guilty of giving a strange look to them.  I couldn't understand why they were there. 

To say that there is a comparison between the Tea Party and the Wall Street protesters is ludicrous.  The Tea Party protesters bring lawn chairs and listen to speeches.  We watch over each other's things when you need to take a bathroom break, we keep an eye on each other's children, and then when the rally is over we get out our garbage bags and clean up any mess that may have been left behind.  We neatly fold our signs and put them in the nearest garbage we can find.  The place is left spotless.  We then go over and thank the police officers for giving us security so the counter protesters don't bother us. 

The Wall Street protesters do this:

I can guarantee you, you will never see this at a Tea Party protest. 
If this man is the 99%, I will proudly be part of the 1%. 

Herman Cain - Value Voters Summit

This is well worth the 18+ minutes. 

I have some reservations with Mr. Cain, but the man can give a speech.  I have seen him speak live on a few occasions and he can bring down the house, just like he did here.

He speaks without notes and no teleprompter.  It comes from the heart.  Which is why he sometimes steps in it, politicians tend to be more careful with their speech.

Al Sharpton’s response to Herman Cain saying many blacks have been brainwashed into voting for democrats.



Al needs a history book (although it probably doesn’t mention this), more republicans then democrats voted for both of these acts. Would seem that Herman Cain may be onto something.

No, there is no bias on the part of the NOW. Seriously, just change your name to The National Organization of Liberal Women and be done with it.

Steve Jobs was a visionary.  But, beyond being a visionary he was a person who understood hardship.  He failed many times, but instead of whining, complaining, and demanding from others, he picked himself up, dusted himself off and got on with it.  Not only did he revolutionize the way we live our lives today, he was inspiration to us all. 

Except for maybe the Wall Street occupiers.  They are demanding from someone else.  Steve Jobs demanded from himself.

Not only am I not surprised, I find this a postive thing.  She should have done this weeks ago. 

The truth is this, had she run and lost (which I firmly believe that she would have lost) her brand would be ruined. 

Herman Cain on Fox News Sunday

He has not had his best performances on Fox News Sunday in the past.  This was a much better job.  The attention he is getting is well deserved.  I have some issues with him, but I do think he is a nice man who loves this country and understands what we need to get the ecomony going again.

Are We Going to Follow the Constitution or Not?

Anwar al-Awlaki is dead.  Most people will think that is a good thing.  He was a terrorist that was hell bent on doing destruction to this country and to it's citizens.  Of that there is little dispute.  The dispute comes from how he was killed.  Not the drone, but the lack of due process in the situation. 

In most cases it only the very far right and the very far left that are up in arms.  It ranges from the ACLU to Ron Paul who have spoken out against this.  Now, I have not done any research but I am sure that the likes of Cindy Sheehan is also against what happened.  I hate to be in that company regularly, but today I must join them. 

Nothing, absolutely nothing, in the constitution gives the president the right to kill an American citizen without due process.  al-Awlaki was born in this country; if I am not mistaken that makes him an American citizen, with the rights afforded to all of us. 

The Obama and Bush administrations should have started the legal process to indict him.  Neither administration bothered to do that.  The Obama administration thought about it, but it never went beyond that stage.  Why?  They had the goods on him.  There were plenty of videos of the man declaring his desire to kill Americans and commit terrorists acts against the rest of us.  There are at least incidents in this country that lead back to him; the failed Times Square bomber, the failed Christmas Day airplane bomber, and the successful Fort Hood shooter.  All of which happened under the Obama administration.  Why didn't DOJ go to court and get him declared an enemy combatant?  I would like an answer to that question.

Just consider one thing, this is one man.  The fact that he is a bad man isn't the important point.  The important point is that we, as citizens, are willingly giving up our rights as American citizens and handing the president unprecedented powers.  We are not up in arms that the American president has killed an American citizen without any due process, and we should be.

How long ago was it that as a member of the Tea Party I was called terrorist? Don't say that this doesn't matter people, it does.  The terrorists are winning if are willing to give up this much power to one person.  I say stand with the constitution and demand an answer of why this terrorist was never formally indicted.  It isn't about one man, it is about the rule of law and adherence to our founding documents.
