Quote of the Day - Chris Matthews Edition

“I think a lot of the problem he had today was the late afternoon sun in Berlin. I think it ruined his use of the teleprompters and his usual dramatic windup was ruined”
Is there no water this man won’t carry for President Obama?  It doesn’t seem to occur to this man that he should be able to give a speech without a teleprompter.

Hmm, Maybe This is Why People Don't Care What Weiner Did

Several months ago I noticed this dress at the mall. To be honest, when I first saw it I didn't think it was a dress, I thought it was a long shirt. But, I have been assured that it is indeed a dress. Every time I walked past it I would shake my head and wonder if I would ever let my teen aged daughter (I don't have any, lucky for them I guess) leave the house in this dress. The answer is not just no, but hell no.

I got to thinking that part of the reason that we think that what Weiner did was somehow acceptable is because we let our young daughters leave the house dressed like this:

I am not kidding, this dress is actually a size larger than I normally would wear and when I bent over everything that God gave me was sticking out.  No there is no photo of that, I spared you that sight.

This dress is sized for girls as young as 13, it is in the Juniors section.

This is what I left the house dressed in.  Light and breezy and I can actually bend over if I have to without worrying about giving everyone a show.

But, I guess I am just one of those backward, culturally conservative weirdos that Chris Matthews was talking about.   I just never realized that Washington, DC was rural.  Who knew?  Thanks Chris for clearing that up for me.

Chris Matthews' Says Happy MLK Day, Well Sort Of

I go to Republican convention; I go to Democrat [convention] and as a white guy one of the things I notice about the difference – one thing I notice about black people at different conventions [is] you go to the Democrat convention [and] black folk are hanging together, having a good time. They’re smiling and enjoying themselves. They feel very much at home. You go to Republican [convention] – you get the feeling you are all told individually ‘now don’t bunch up; don’t get together, don’t crowd or you’ll scare these people’. Is that true in the Republican Party? Is that still true in your party?

Did you fear that if you got together with some other African Americans that white guys might get scared of you?
What a jerk.  While there is no way to deny that the black community tends to vote for the democrats, that doesn't mean that republicans are afraid of them.

Why would Chris be offended by the fact that the people of color are just treated like anyone else at the republican conventions?  Isn't that the message that Dr. King was trying to get across?  I don't care what color someone is, I care what kind of person they are.  Obviously you still need to learn that lesson Mr. Matthews.  Tell me again why I am the racist when from your statement it is the dems that "bunch them" together?  Can't they hang where they want to?

Obama needs an Oklahoma City Moment?

Lovely.  I am sure that he is not wishing for a terrorist attack, but he should have chosen a different visual.  To make this all the better is that my former congressman sitting next to him didn't say a word.  Way to Moron Moran.  Great going Virgina for keeping this idiot in office.

How's That Tingle Now Mr. Matthews?

Oh my, I love this woman.  God Bless you Congresswoman.

The Delusion of Chris Matthews and Jim Moran

Virginia's 8th district must be so proud.  It is hard to miss how delusional this man is.  Sadly, Congressman MoronMoran can stay in congress for as long as he wants, he won't lose re-election.  The people in his district will lob off body parts before they vote for republican.

Liberal Logic - Chris Matthews - Repulicans Are Like Khmer Rouge

Chris Matthews is at it again.  It isn't enough that last week he talked about how he forgot President Obama was black for an hour, he is now comparing republicans to a Cambodian re-education camp, which was really a death camp that killed about 2,000,000 people.

Can you just imagine what would be done if a conservative said something like this about democrats?  It wouldn't be pretty.
