Feel Good Story of the Day - Wrongly Convicted Man Signed to Play in NFL
This just made my heart melt. Today it has been confirmed that Brian Banks has been signed to NFL contract with the Atlanta Falcons. Banks spent more than five years in prison for a rape he never committed. As a teen, Banks was on his way to USC to play football before the false charges, arrest, and conviction.
Good for him. I hope he does an awesome job and has this dream come true. He deserves it after what he has been put through.
Sadly, the woman who derailed his dreams has yet to be charged. She is the one that belongs in jail.
