May Day Riots in Santa Cruz, CA

Here is some video on the news coverage of the riots and the damage done by the "anarchrists" in Santa Cruz.  The damage is said to be about $100,000.  I just wonder if the word "ugly" would be used if it were a tea party that caused this type of damage.
