Quote of the Day - Yours Truly Conservative Girl
I have been busy this week with all the activties in the our nations Capitol with the Obamacare hearings. We have had something to do everyday since Friday. Since we are the "locals" it has fallen to us to have representation at the court during the hearings. Yesterday wasn't an issue with that as AFP had a rally with some faves of the conservative movement. Afterwards, I went back to the court. There has been some tension between the pro and con crowds. I kept getting called a "teabagger" so finally I asked this young woman:
"Can you please explain to me why you feel it is necessary for you to pay for my husband's Viagra?"
She was stunned and didn't know what to say. I finally have just decided to start changing the narrative. Many of them don't realize that the no co-pay is not free. She will be paying for Viagra. (I have been instructed to add, not needed at my house).
I doubt it will change her mind, but at least it will make her think.

Conservative Activism Alerts
Stand up for religious freedom tomorrow at noon. What religion you practice is not relevant, it is the fact that this administration feels it has the right to tell churches and religious organizations that their consciences do not matter. The Constitution says otherwise. This has never been about birth control, it is about religious freedom and how President Obama and his minions are trying to take that away from the American people. Locations here.
We have reached the two year mark for Obamacare. It hits the Supreme Court on Monday. Show your dissatisfaction this weekend.
Saturday - Road to Repeal Rally Upper Senate Park 12 - 2 PM
List of speakers and bus information can be found here.
Sunday - Surround the Supreme Court in Prayer Stand for Religious Freedom 2-4 PM
Details found here.
Monday and Wednesday - Local Tea Party Rallies at the Supreme Court
A small group of local activists will have committed to having someone at the court the entire time arguments are being heard. We will be there with signs and walking the sidewalks around the court. There is no set time for this, but if you are in town and wish to help out, please be there between 8 and 3 both days. Where comfy shoes as you will be required to keep walking.
Tuesday - Hands of my Healthcare Rally 1pm at the Supreme Court
Michele Bachmann and Pat Toomey will be among the speakers. Remember that this will be the day that Al Sharpton and his Union Buddies (yeah the same people who got waivers to exempt themselves from the law) will be there to say how wonderful a law they don't have to participate in is. If you can only make one, this is the one. There may still be buses available, a registration fee is required for the buses. Click here for more details.

March 23 Lunchtime Rally to Preserve Religious Freedoms
I am not Catholic, but I understand fully what Catholic Charities do in this country. Catholic Charities across the United States will be forced to close their doors in order to protect their first amendment rights to the Freedom of Religion.
This administration is waging a war against our beliefs and wants to make us a more secular country.
Stand up and say Hell No, I Won't Go. We are being dragged to a place that our society does not want to go to.
Find a location near you. If there isn't one, organize one. Go to your congressman's office if no federal buildings are near by. Doesn't matter if they support this mandate or not. If they are not fighting to get it reversed they are not doing enough.
Visuals matter and this president needs to see that we will not stand by and watch him take our right to worship and the Church's right to their conscience and their doctrine.
This isn't about birth control, this about our constitutional right to worship and the government not interfering with it. Only the willfully blind don't see the difference. No one is taking access to birth control, this about forcing a religious body to pay for something that goes against what they firmly believe in. You want birth control paid for by insurance, don't work for a religious institution. It is that simple.
If you don't stand up now, it may be too late.

Ignorance and Government Dependency
Several small studies have been completed by The University of Waterloo, Ontario and Duke University, the finding show that more ignorant a person is on a complicated issue the more likely they are to allow the government handle it. I would think that Global Warming would be one of these issues, as trying to read some of the scientific data on it is a mind numbing experience.
But, I have to wonder would the results be similar if they studied less complicated issues? We live in a society where government dependency is becoming more and more commonplace. One has to look no further on the record numbers on food stamps at the moment. While there is an economic reason why so many have found themselves in a position to take help from the government at this point in time in our history, can we say that this is not going to lead to more government dependency as time goes on? I don't think that will be clear for quite some time, but it should be a growing concern in this country.
We are seeing Europe going through austerity measures and in Greece the people are not reacting well to having to retire later and getting fewer benefits. Isn't this sort of the same type of thing? Is the average person living in Greece looking at the numbers and looking at the not so healthy world economy? One would think that if they were paying even the least little bit of attention they would realize that the changes are quite literally vital to their country's economic well-being.
Uncertainty brings anxiety, Shepherd and Kay explain, and one way to deal with that anxiety is to “simply outsource personal responsibility to supposed qualified others.”Do we really have "qualified others" in our government at present? I am sure that some are, but just take a look at the failure of the "Super Committee", a committee that was formed that never had a chance of anything but failure. These are the people we should be looking at as qualified?
But here is the money item:
“Being actively critical of something one is dependent on is thought to be psychologically uncomfortable, and therefore avoided in favor of increased perceptions of legitimacy, trust, and desirability. System justification theory posits that people are motivated to justify and legitimize the status quo and the system in which one lives.”Once you have turned over the control to the government you are basically giving them unlimited power to do whatever they want to your life. You become complacent and no longer feel the need or the desire to pay close attention to what is going on around you. You become almost slave like to the whims of people who you have never met, who don't understand your real needs or desires, nor do they care to know. You have given them unbridled power to behave as they so choose. They then become addicted to the power and will say and do anything to hold onto that power.
I have been saying for years that we have no one to blame but ourselves for the mess that we are currently facing. We have the government that we deserve. We expected it work just fine on auto-pilot. Clearly, with trillions of dollars worth of debt, public schools that are failing our children, and public officials that are out of control, we were wrong.
The one bright spot of the research was the following on the Tea Party:
“Generally I think of those movements as representing instances where people are not following our model, possibly because these are people who feel a) a sense of personal control/efficacy, and b) feel like their behavior can create change. This sense of personal control and ability to create change may make people feel less dependent on the government, or change how they respond to perceived dependence. Either way, it means that the individual may be less inclined to truth authority and avoid the issues.”It is clear that we must become more involved in our government and the issues facing this country or we face a life of dependency and outsourcing any sort of control over our own lives.

Gee, Catholic University Has Religious Symbols on Campus
Who would have thunk it. A private Catholic university has pictures of Jesus and crucifixes on campus. Gee, what a surprise. But apparently this appears to be a surprise to some Muslim students who feel the university is not doing enough to provide them a place to pray that doesn't have catholic symbols.
I am a strong and fervent believer in the right to practice your faith. People should feel free to pray in this country. We were, in part, founded on this tradition. These students want to pray, then have at it. But, do they really have to attend a Catholic University?
Catholic University is a private institution. Therefore, it is under no obligation to take down any symbols of their faith. Period. End of story. But of course some activist Muslims are trying to file a lawsuit to force the university to give them a room to pray in that doesn't contain any of the symbols of the faith that is practiced by them.
This is about getting special treatment. Not equal treatment, which is what our country is based upon. If a Jewish student were to go to Catholic University the same would be true. The same for a fundamentalist Christian, who does not believe in using the image of Christ. If you are going to be a student of this school you must accept the traditions and the use of the symbols of which created the school. Obviously they are not discriminating against anyone as they will accept student regardless of religious affiliation. Although, they would be not breaking any laws if they did.
The Constitution only guarantees that the government does not discriminate based on religion. It has no jurisdiction for a private institution. Private institutions are free to discriminate as they so choose.
I have an idea, if you don't like crosses and pictures of Jesus at your college, go elsewhere.

Occupy Wall Street Quote of the Day
"We don’t know where it comes from. It just appears, and we eat it.”On how they are eating during their sit in. Who cares who pays for it, as long as they get some. The level of entitlement of these people is simply stunning.

Oh, The Truth Hurts
I have been saying for quite a long while, that the veil of the new Democratic party is lifting and the true picture is not pretty.
The Occupy Wall Street Protesters are showing their true colors.
I say let them protest. The more they do, the more they show themselves for who they are really are. The selfishness and the anti-semitism being exhibited is something that all voters in this country need to see. This is where this country is heading if Obama gets re-elected.

Heaven Help Us if this is What is Resonating
CNN wants Erick Erickson to admit that the Wall Street Protests are starting to resonate.
I certainly hope not:
This young man can't even articulate why his education should be free other than someone else makes more money than he does. He has no clue that we pay some of the highest corporate tax rates in the world. He has not idea that the top 10% of tax payers already pay 67% of the bills. He just knows that he wants something for nothing. Just imagine if college were free in this country. We already have free primary education, and the drop rates in some cities is over 50%. When something is given to you, you rarely see the value in it. Hard work is good for you, it builds character.
These protests have very little to do with protecting the poor, it is about greed and wanting what some else has worked for.
He should be fighting for people like her, instead of whining about himself.

Today is Take Your Child to a Protest Day
Today being Columbus Day and many school children around the country have the day off from school, the "organizers" of Occupy Wall Street have decided that today this is a good time for a "Kids Speak Out Day".
Lovely. Will anyone be taking a poop on police car while they are there?
Yet another reason to homeschool.
"Even as banks got bailed out, American children have witnessed their parents get tossed out of their homes and lose their jobs. Public school kids have lost arts, music and physical education, now our kids can see activists take these issues to the streets in a democratic forum at Occupy Wall Street."
Lovely. Will anyone be taking a poop on police car while they are there?
“Most of the kids are trust-fund babies. They don’t need to be here,” said Andre, 40, an activist. “I’ve seen some making out, having sex. It doesn’t look good.”Are they going to be doing something about that before the school kids come? Or what about this:
Many of the newcomers to the tent city are attracted by the donated freebies: pizza, sandwiches, fruit, as well as bins of sweaters, pants, boots, even underwear. There are also handout comforters for anyone who wants 40 winks. So, the organizers of this "leaderless" protest believes that bringing young children down to witness these things are a good idea? This is democracy in action according to them.
And with complimentary condoms on hand, a 1960s-style free love has begun to blossom. More than 400 participants spent the night Friday huddling and cuddling in Zuccotti Park.
Yet another reason to homeschool.

Pelosi V. Cantor on Wall Street Protesters
"I didn't hear him say anything when the Tea Party was out demonstrating, actually spitting on members of Congress right here in the Capitol. And he and his colleagues were putting signs in the windows encouraging them. But let's not get down to that."Nancy Pelosi on Eric Cantor's statement that he was worried about the Wall Street Protesters. So, let's see, first and foremost, the spitting never happened. At least not in the context that Nanny would like people to believe in this statement. The video evidence of what happened was found, quite a while ago in fact. It was a say it don't spray it situation. There was no intent to spit on any member of congress during any tea party. The Tea Party was responsible for shutting down one of the offices of congress when after Speaker Pelosi's office refused to open the door, let alone speak to the protesters they ripped up paper from a copy of Obamacare. I witnesses that event, and at the time said it was a bad idea to allow ourselves to be provoked in this manner. But what wasn't widely reported was the fact that other members of the tea party went back into the building and help clean up the mess after the offices were re-opened.
Here are the facts, not one person who was attending a Tea Party protest as a real member of the Tea Party has been arrested. Now, when the left sends their agitators, they get arrested, or bite off some poot guy's finger, but no Tea Party member has been arrested. We have never demanded to use the restrooms in private businesses even when though we are not paying customers of those businesses. We have not taken over any park and said to hell with the people who live in that neighborhood. When two young people walked through the crowd at the Glenn Beck rally last August wearing Obama T-shirts to provoke the crowd, they themselves said that only thing that was said to them is that they would prayed for. Other than that, all they got was strange looks. I am guilty of giving a strange look to them. I couldn't understand why they were there.
To say that there is a comparison between the Tea Party and the Wall Street protesters is ludicrous. The Tea Party protesters bring lawn chairs and listen to speeches. We watch over each other's things when you need to take a bathroom break, we keep an eye on each other's children, and then when the rally is over we get out our garbage bags and clean up any mess that may have been left behind. We neatly fold our signs and put them in the nearest garbage we can find. The place is left spotless. We then go over and thank the police officers for giving us security so the counter protesters don't bother us.
The Wall Street protesters do this:
I can guarantee you, you will never see this at a Tea Party protest.
If this man is the 99%, I will proudly be part of the 1%.

Some Notes from the Peanut Gallery
I have not been able to pay as close attention to the debt limit crisis as I normally would. Life has gotten in the way. Today I was trying to do some reading to see what I missed. Not all that much really, they seem to be in the same place they were a few weeks ago. Just closer to date of "doom" according to the left.
I did across an article about the Tea Party influence in this debate. The article is about what one would expect on CNN. But I always find the comments to be the best part. I came across this one:
OK, 1. Apparently Congress does need someone or something to explain living within your means. They have not been doing it for decades. 2. The Tea Party is mainly a group of everyday citizens saying they have had enough. I have never been paid to go to any protest. I have never been given money to get there, everything that I have done has been taking time off from work (I only work part time so it is easier for me) and getting myself to DC on my own. Granted I don't live far so there is not much money involved here. Really just parking and gas for me. 3. The wealthiest of Americans do pay the vast majority of the bills in this country. I don't know what it will take to get the people on the left to accept that. Almost half of the people in this country pay no income tax at all. They pay payroll taxes and end up with a refund at the end of the year. Who do you think is putting money into the treasury? Do you think the money comes from the tooth fairy? It is not unreasonable to demand that congress be responsible with our money. Presently they are not. We don't live within our means and that is the reason for the tea party.
The vast majority of people I know that are involved in the tea party are middle class people who struggle with money issues. Just like the majority of Americans. I know of one who has told me on several occasions she really struggles with money every month. Things are tight for her and her husband. I know people in the tea party who are single and renters. I know people who are just starting out in their lives. Only out of college a few years. I know several people who are in the medical field and what drove them to the tea party was Obamacare. They know what is going to happen to our medical care in this country when this fully takes hold. (If is more like it). I know some military people who have defended this country for a small amount of money who are really worried about the direction we are going in. One of which has spent time in a war zone. His voice has the right to be heard.
Yeah I agree that far too many people in congress make themselves rich off the tax payer. You should be in the tea party not calling them racists. We believe that too.
Open your eyes to what is happening in this country and then maybe you can get your head out of your ass long enough to realize that Tea Party is trying to stop this country from spending more on interest than it does on education every year. You are against fighting for that? But, I am the stupid one? Yeah, you jerk, we spend more on interest every year than we do to educate our young.

I have a few questions. 1. Since when did this country need a "Super Congress" to know the difference between spending within your means and spending out of control! ? 2. Since when did the "Tea Potty" think they were "The peoples Potty"? 3. And last but not least, just what makes the wealthiest so high and mighty that they, can't or won't, support the country that made them wealthy? Can the 2 seperate Republican enities explain these?
Just exactly what country are they serving? I know it can not be America! They are traitors, liers, and they call themselves faith based. These biggots are self serving with NO intentions to serve this country but only those outside of the lawmakers rhelm to make themselves more rich off the working peoples back. What a disgusting group of trash to represent this Country!

1st Annual Virginia Tea Party Summit on Education - Richmond, VA
Education is a topic I care about deeply. There is no point in working to change this country if the next generation doesn't understand why. My personal mision falls more within improving the educational system within country with school choice and badly needed public education reform. But teaching about the consititution is of equal importance. If you are in the Richmond area, plan on attending. I have heard NRIE speak previously and they have some great stories and some wonderful ideas.
1st Annual Virginia Tea Party Summit on Education
Where:
The Commonwealth Club

Dear Fellow Patriots,
(FYI: YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT TO BE ADMITTED, THANK YOU)
We are pleased to present the first annual tea party summit on education! We are holding this event because it has become clear that the heritage and foundational principles that made us the greatest country in the world are not being taught or are being distorted in K-12 education. Our public schools are not teaching kids the importance of the rule of law, economic freedom and individual achievement.
This is perilous and if we don't act, our hard work will be undone by an entire generation that doesn't understand or is actively opposed to individual freedom!
This seminar will provide you with an action plan that you can implement. Our goal is to build a coalition of tea party leaders, activists and educators that can work together to be more effective.
You will leave with a step by step action plan, resources, tools, and a support system to truly make a difference. We have invited national organizations that are 100% focused on getting young people not only the right information but also inspiring and engaging them on American exceptionalism. This seminar will tell you how to do it!

The New Faces of Homelessness
Living outside of Washington, DC you see awful examples of homelessness. Within mere blocks from the White House you see people sleeping on grates. Virtually every metro station has people standing with signs asking for food and/or money. It is really quite shameful. Many homeless are mentally ill or substance abusers. You can't help anyone that is unwilling to help themselves, no matter how hard you may try.
Outside of the grocery store I used to shop at there was always a young man who was obviously homeless. I would pick him up a sandwich while I was in the store. He never appeared to be high or drunk to me nor did he ever ask me for money. A couple of times I needed help moving furniture or something else heavy and I paid him to move the things. He never stole anything and did a very good at any task that I requested. Then I noticed I had not seen him in a while and read in the paper that the homeless man who had been hit by a bus had died after a time in a coma, he is his late twenties if I remember correctly. I assumed it was him. It made me very sad. He seemed like a good guy who was just down and out, and I has always wished I had tried to do more to help him.
I have spending some time recently at the Lincoln Memorial. It is one of my very favorite views of D.C. I have been taking one of my all time favorite people with me. We talk about our day, get some ice cream, and just share some time together. I want him to have a special memory of that place that every time he goes there he remembers the time we spent together. A trigger memory as it were.
Yesterday I noticed someone who looked familiar to me with homeless please help sign written on a beat up piece of cardboard. I almost never carry cash. I am debit card girl. So, I just kept walking to my destination. I had to use the bathroom and needed to walk past her again. I noticed she was reading Atlas Shrugged. Which of course I found amusing and ironic. I looked again, and yes indeed I did recognize her. She recently started showing up at some tea party and election events that I have been to in the past few months. I went over to ask what she needed.
When she saw someone coming with children with them she moved her sign. I went and asked her why she did that and she told me that she realized that children don't always understand the very real reasons why adults are hesitant to give money to strangers. These people didn't know her story and many assume she is addict or something. I asked if drugs were the reason she was here. She explained it was simply a recession issue for her. She lost her job three years ago and could only find a job in retail sales that paid her commission. She did ok for the first two years and but then she ran out of her savings. Her job then cut her commission level in half and then cut her hours in half as well. She even said Target turned her down for a job. She simply got an email saying that they were not interested at this time and reapply in six months. Something that left her very depressed and feeling desperate.
I asked her what her most immediate need was (besides a job that pays a livable wage) and she told me she needed to do laundry. She was almost completely out of clean clothes. I didn't notice anything with her and she explained she has a car and keeps her things in her car. I asked if her car was close by and it was. I went with her and picked up her laundry. I brought it back clean a few hours later along with the food I had in the house that didn't require cooking or refrigeration. Mainly snacky foods like Lorna Doones, Cheerios and Granola Bars. I also stopped and got her a hot meal from Whole Foods.
I remember hearing about a tent city that has erected in Seattle. While Seattle seems to be a Mecca of sorts of homeless because of year round mild weather and permissive city laws, apparently it has grown since the recession has been hitting the country. It got me thinking of how many other people who have just fallen through the cracks and end up on the streets. It really is quite sad.
I also wanted to know what led her to start becoming more involved with Tea Party events. She told me that she is a conservative person but not really a joiner. She was working hard to keep her head above water when the Tea Party first started and just didn't have the time or the desire to get involved although she agreed with the basic concepts. She admitted that part of it for her is a time filler and a temperature controlled place to go for a few hours. She has never spoken to anyone that I have seen. She comes in, listens and leaves a bit early.
She explained to me that she knew this coming for a while and held it off as long as she could, but just couldn't make the rent anymore. She thought she had prepared herself but has found out that it is an incremental experience. Your life becomes about surviving today. Having enough food for today. Finding a safe place to sleep tonight. Looking at tomorrow is hard and looking at next week is next to impossible. She went through a period of depression for the first month or so but has been able to shake that off. She realized that this is her life and only she can get herself out of it. She keeps herself clean and has started filling out job applications again. She has a job interview later this week. She told me that she has been able to keep her phone turned on so can find a job. She says that is one of her biggest fears is that she will lose her phone service or her computer will get stolen. She knows she will never find a job if those things happen. She has found places that she feels safe to sleep. The hard part now is filling all the hours without getting very depressed.
I talked to someone at my church today. They have an opening for someone to help with the summer camp. It won't pay much and it is only for a few weeks, but it will help. The pastor said there are plenty of other people around and they will run a criminal background check just to be sure. My church also has a house, but presently that is being filled by a woman and her kids who were being abused and needed a safe place to stay until she can get on her feet. So I am not able to find her a temporary place to live, at least not yet.
Since I love blogging so much I told her she should start a blog and keep a record of her experience. It may help someone else who finds themselves in similar circumstances. She told me that she did start one but gave it up pretty quickly because of the depression. I told her she needed to start it up again. She told me she would. Here is the address if you want to read her story. There isn't much there, but it is interesting reading.
I am going to try to find her later today or tomorrow and tell her about the summer camp position. Wish me luck in finding her and wish her luck in her endeavor to get her life back on track. I will update you later.
Guess What? You Agree with Conservatives
Today I was out doing some canvassing for Tito Munoz's senate campaign. I was sitting at a local grocery store that happens to have WiFi and looking up some addresses on Mapquest. The restaurant section was pretty full and this man asked if he could sit at my table. Of course it was no big deal to me, I was not doing anything with state secrets or anything. For some reason the man felt like he needed to have a conversation with me.
He made a joke and asked me if I was a tax assessor because I had a clipboard of addresses. I said no worse, I was doing work for the upcoming elections for the state legislator. He asked me if the candidate was a minority or not. I said as matter of fact yes he is. I told him that Tito is a naturalized citizen who was born and raised in Columbia.
We got to talking about politics and I told him that I have gotten very involved since 2008. I think this man assumed that Tito and I are both democrats. I then told him that no we are republicans and conservative republicans at that. He then looked at me and said "oh, you are part of the tea party.". Why yes we are. This man happened to be a minority as well, a black man. He told me that he would never vote for a republican because they don't care about him. I asked him where he was from and he wasn't in Tito's district, matter fact he was from Maryland, so I figured I could say what I wanted to say without affecting anything as he didn't recognize Tito's name.
So I explained to him my insight into the black community as it is and asked him some questions.
1. Are you a religious man and regular church goer. Yes he is.
2. Are you against gay marriage on religious beliefs. Yes he is.
3. Wouldn't you say that if a family is going on third or fourth generation living in poverty and public assistance the system has failed them? Yes, I guess so.
4. Shouldn't a poor black child get a good education? Of course.
5. Shouldn't the poor black family have access to better schools like richer people? Of course.
6. Would you agree that the high levels of black unemployment have a relationship to the less effective school systems in the poorer communities. I guess so.
7. Would it shock you to learn that the NAACP has sided with the teachers unions in Harlem, NY to keep one of the lowest performing schools in the country open instead of allowing the students to attend a charter school? He doesn't believe that is true. I assured him it was.
8. Do you think it is fair that public school teachers in New Jersey put in approx. $100K towards benefits and the tax payers pay them almost $1 Million in return. He doesn't believe that is true. I googled it for him.
9. Do you believe that tax payers should fund abortion? No.
10. Do you understand that the founder of Planned Parenthood was a racist who gave lectures to the KKK and wanted to rid the world of "undesirables? Did you know that she considered blacks undesirables? Did you know that many of the PP clinics are in minority neighborhoods? Do you think that is just happenstance? Did you know that the black community would be almost doubled in size in this country if Roe V. Wade had not become legal in this country. He was dumbfounded.
My final question was
You vote for the democrats why? He didn't have an answer. Will he become a republican. Maybe, maybe not. But I gave him something to think about.
One person at a time is how we will win the fight to get our country back on track. Don't name call, just ask serious questions and give factual answers. One person at a time.

Some of My Favorite Tweets of Aftermath of Wisconsin Union Vote
Breaking: WI Unions seek to add "Blankies" to nxt bargaining agreemnt in case Big Labor's mouth pried loose of government teat.
When liberals start calling for the repeal of ObamaCare, I'll start taking their 'BUT POLLS SHOW PEOPLE STAND W/THE UNIONS!!!1' seriously.
RT @diggrbiii Remember when the Tea Partiers stormed the Capitol & started breaking stuff after ObamaCare passed? Yeah, me neither. #tcot
Dear #wiunions: Now you know what Obamacare tasted like.
You know what the situation in Wisconsin needs? #cowboypoetry
#WI has one of the highest tax rates in the country #blameKochs #p2 #twisters #tcot #wiunion
My fav. part of tonight? Michael Moore talking about "pure grassroots" with images of preprinted union signs on the screen
I am not a #wiunion member, I am a #witaxpayer & my money is paying 4 the union teachers salary. Go back to work. Same 4 you #fleebaggers
Irony: Koch brothers make products, employ people. Soros manipulates currency. Which one is the left *supposed* to hate? #tcot #p2
8231v: Something bothers me about people who try to use violence and intimitation to make us give them Govt money" #tcot #obama #unions
Nothing says democracy like hiding in another state cowering because of union threats #TCOT #P2 #gop
Shocked that media isn't reporting the angry white crowd breaking things in Wisconsin as #teaparty.
#wiunion now chanting #UNION POWER Finally they speak the TRUTH #twisters #wi #tcot #p2
#Liberals are PRO-choice, except when it comes to FORCED #Unions #twisters #wiunion #wi #inunion #ohunion #meunion #tcot
But, this has to be my personal favorite:
RT @shoq: DEAR AMERICAN PROGRESSIVES: #WI was your 9/11
Thats right. This was like 9/11. Seriously Shoq? What exactly was 9/11/01 then? No one died today. No family is left without a loved one today. Our sense of security was not shattered today. Dude - you have real problems if you think this was like 9/11.

Why Do You Have the Right to Your Money? WI Teachers to Tea Party
While I don't agree that teachers don't do anything of value, but I do have the "right" to my money. I earned it right?
I guess my question is why do they have the right to my money?
