The arrogance of this man is simply stunning. No, Mr. President they are not fighting on "your" behalf. The oath they took was to the constitution, not to you. I realize that you think supersede it, but you don't. You are not king.

They are fighting on my behalf. And yours. And every American's. His statement was accurate. I'm surprised this was one you got exercised over.
Yet another difference between a conservative and liberal thought process. Conservatives view the military as fighting for the country, not the individual. We look at in terms of the constitution and the country.
So when a conservative hears the Commander in Chief say fighting on "my" behalf we are outraged.
I could insult you here with a remark about this shows the selfishness of the typical liberal, but I will decline.
