Note: For info on the ATL event, please go to northgeorgia912.com. This is protest, not a rally or march because 1.) we couldn’t meet the deadlines to get the required permits and 2.) other events going on that day downtown (Juvenile Diabetes Walk and Disney on Ice shows). So we can’t have speakers or bull horns or anything like a Tea Party. We will be providing the equivalent of race numbers to all attendees so we can get an accurate count and make sure that’s in the face of the media. We’ll be on the Marietta St. sidewalk from CNN Center to the AJC.

Boston, MA –
BOSTON GLOBE – Morrissey Blvd – 2pm – 5pm - SEE NOTE FROM ORGANIZER…

(People have contacted me with concerns about parking at or around the Boston Globe. I contacted the Boston police and the Mass. State police and they made a

few suggestions. There is limited parking on the street and we can only stand on

the sidewalk in and around the Boston Globe, so they suggest we take the Braintree T OR THE Quincy T to the Columbia station stop. When you get off the T, you will be directly across from Moakley park where we plan on congregating. After we’ve all grouped together we will then march the one block to the Boston Globe. If you get there early enough I’m sure there should be plenty of parking at the park. Here are the driving directions for that.

MOAKLEY PARK – Boston – Driving directions: Take I-90 (Mass Pike) East to I-93 South – Take I-93 South to the JFK Library Exit – Go left at the end of the ramp (under the interstate) – Continue up a small hill and into a rotary – Take the second exiting road (almost straight across). When exiting the rotary, Columbus Park will be on your left and the water will be on your right. Continue pass the Police Department, Park in the lot near the large pavillion. The field will be across the street. Follow the main sidewalk into the middle of the park.

Public transportation: Red Line: UMASS/JFK leaves you across the street from the entrance of the park. Bus Route 8 and 16.

We realize you have families, jobs, and many other obligations, but isn’t it

about time those of us who work hard, care for our kids, and pay the taxes take

a stand? We are planning on a pretty good group of people so we should have a

wonderful time!! Drive, bus, T, carpool, caravan, taxi, walk! I don’t care how you get there. Just do it!)

Saginaw, MICHIGAN - Website - Website 2

WNEM TV5 (CBS) – 107 N. Franklin Street – 4pm to 6pm

They have a broadcast that day at 6:00pm, so being there before the broadcast should be the most effective and it will have us out of there by dark. There are 2 big sidewalks in front and to the side of the studio and it is on a main street in downtown Saginaw, so a pretty good spot. There is parking on Genesee and Washington, and 2 parking structures nearby, one of them being the Dow Event Center parking structure which would be a 2 block walk to the studio. Remember this protest is to the mainstream news media and our disgust and dissapointment with them. Stay peaceful and keep your signs focused to them, eg. "Can You Hear Us Now", "Report the Whole Story", "Don’t ignore We The People", etc. Hope to see you there.
