That Was Quite A Speech There Mr. Speaker

I am really liking this speech.  The American people need to be fully aware, THE ONLY reason we are having this discussion is because the republicans are listening to the Tea Party.  We MUST cut our debt. 

Boehner on Budget and Over Spending

In his first TV interview since the deal was announced.  I agree with him, this was a start.  We have a long way to go and there is only so much they can do until we get the senate back.

Hmm, interesting.  I personally believe that we are stuck in a situation where we don't have a choice but to raise the debt ceiling.  If we don't we are taking the chance of lowering our credit rating, which will increase the interest that we are paying.  But, I think that the GOP must fight for some rules that rid us of some of this out of control spending.  Every person in this country owes $42K towards the national debt, even the ones still in diapers. 

Wow, Obama sounds almost like a tea partier.
