  1. With all the criticism that is going around issues sometines get lost. Issues that involve the technologies of the 21st century will be lost and not understoof.

Although I disaagree with Newt on a fe things with regard to this issue he is right and the other three candidates are wrong.

Why! Helium 3. Scientists have long known that the enrgy requirements to start and contain a Fusion reaction with Helium 3 are less due to the fact that it is an isotope. The nuetrons radiated from this reaction are 80% less than Hydrogen making the radiation containable in a reactor. I believe they can be absorbed by lithium without irradiating things around them.

Unlike fission fusion does not create long term radioactive waste. It's by product is water and helium.

The reason HE3 fusion has not been utilized to date is there is estimated a total of one kilogram of it on all of planet earth.

Solar particles on the moon however are absorbed by the rock meaaning that there are tons of it there since the earth's atmosphere and magnetosphere are not there to deflect them.

Whoever goes to the moon and sets up colonies first will have access to the He3 and in the next 20 years effectively have a strnaglehold on the commodity that provide4s energy to the world.

Newt is right on this. Just my thoughts.

  2. I will have to take your word on that, because I have no idea what any of that means.
