That’s — “he’s a racist.” And I didn’t appreciate it then. I don’t appreciate it now. It’s one thing to say, “I don’t appreciate the way he’s handled his business.” It’s another thing to say, “This man’s a racist.” I resent it, it’s not true, and it was one of the most disgusting moments in my Presidency.President Bush on Kayne West's infamous comment that he hated black people during a fundraiser for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Like him or not, disagree with his policies, but the man is a class act. He is more than willing to accept criticsm, but calls out the lie of the racism charge. There is no doubt that this charge is a lie. President Bush acknowledges he made mistakes with Katrina. Sadly, most people don't realize that his hands were tied in some instances due to constitutional limitations on what the federal government can do without the state asking for it. West, obviously, being among them.

Paul Begala on CNN's Election Night Coverage.

“I expect Arianna Huffington to hire this clown.”
Bill O'Reilly on the loss of Alan Grayson. He said this about 30 minutes before the race was called.
