Is it just me, or is 25 just a bit old to be carrying on the 'Valley Girl' accent and giggle?
Okay.. straight face again... The thing I took from that interview is that she doesn't realize how much it's leadership qualities that really matter, as opposed to the particular issues the person supports.. particularly at this moment in our history.
I think that a fiscally conservative person who is strong on national defense, okay with (or not adamantly against) gay marriage and reasonable on abortion, but who is a seriously strong, real leader could take the reigns of the Republican Party right now, because what we need right now is strong leadership.
Anyway... maybe it's just me, but I think her issues with Palin are somewhat based in cattiness, and perhaps display a little bit of a daughter being watchful of a desirable woman (Palin) who was close to her father... a man who is known to surround himself with attractive women.
Or not.
After all, I'm a guy, so I might not have a clue what I'm talking about here!
Sol: I don't think that you are too off there. I have not read her book, but what I can gather from the two things I read about it, nothing against Palin has anything to do with substance. It is all personality stuff. It just makes me wonder why Palin feels this sense of loyalty to the McCains, they feel none to her quite obviously.
I saw her interview and agreed with her, too.
ReplyDeleteUh.. hee, hee...
ReplyDeleteI like, so agree with her too. Totally.
