I am stunned that a military man would make those type of comments on the record about the President. He worked many years and he just threw his life's work away. Dumb, dumb, and dumb
If the general is saying these things publically it signals to me the entire military leadership is seeing and feeling what the rest of us are and this spells big trouble for Hussein not for McCrystal.

He can be court martialed for what he said about the Vice President alone. No commissioned officer is allowed to publically say negative comments about the civilian leaders of the military. This includes the VP and the Sec. of defense among others.
Just because you agree with what he said doesn't mean that he had the right to say it. They do not have the same rights to free speech that we do.

He has to follow the chain of command, no one in this country should expect any less of our military.
